Admissions to Ph.D. and Integrated M.Sc.-Ph.D. programmes for the year 2014

National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) will select candidates through following channels for admissions to Ph.D. and Integrated M.Sc.-Ph.D. programmes for the year 2014.

Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Science (JGEEBILS).

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2013/GATE-2014).

(The Candidates with 85 percentile or more in GATE 2013-2014 in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology and Instrumentation Engineering may apply through this channel. )

Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST-2014).

CSIR (JRF) (Chemistry) (2013-14 batch).

Candidates will be short-listed for a two-tier interview based on their performance in the JGEEBILS examination or their score in the GATE examination /JEST examination /CSIR (JRF) (Chemistry) examination, depending on the stream through which they have applied to NBRC.

Application open for JGEEBILLS: 2nd September 2013.

Last date of application for JGEEBILS: 20th October 2013.

Application opens at NBRC (www.nbrc.ac.in) : 15th September 2013

Last date for filling Online & Offline application form : 16th December 2013

Last date for receipt of both online & offline applications along with Demand Draft, at NBRC: 26th December, 2013

Candidates short-listed for the interview will be informed latest by May 2014. The interviews are likely to be held in the month of May/June 2014. The interview dates will also be published on the NBRC web site.

Online Application opens for NBRC : 28th February 2014.

Last date for filling application form at NBRC (Online & Offline): 15th April 2014.

Last date for receipt of Demand Draft at NBRC is 25th April 2014.

Candidates short-listed for the interview will be informed latest by May 2014. The interviews are likely to be held in the month of May/June 2014. The interview dates will also be published on the NBRC web site.
