Vacancies for the position of Consultant
1. Directorate General of Employment and Training(DGE&T) is responsible for training of
large number of youth every year through its various schemes. A large number of new
initiatives have been started by DGE&T which include setting of a new training institution
in PPP mode, involving industries in management of training Institutions and developing
meaningful courses, performance based funding under World Bank Assisted VTIP,
developing IT based system for batter monitoring/Tracking, amending apprenticeship
regime, modernizing National Employment Services etc. Services of Six Consultants are
required by DGE&T to work in these areas.
2. Each Consultant will be assigned specific area of work. He /She would be expected to
analyse data, help in designing new systems, identification of problem areas and
suggesting remedial actions over and above suggesting new innovative ways of
improving the delivery. Each consultant will be expected to deal with assigned set of
Ministries, States and Sectors depending on the qualification and experience.
3. Qualification and Experience
Bachelor in Engineering or Technology / Masters in Economics or Social work or
Development Studies or in relevant field from reputed institutes. Experience of handling
Skill Development Programs and working with Government would be preferred.
4. Age: 25 to 40 Years
5. Terms and Conditions:
The Consultant will be engaged on contract basis initially for a period of one year extendable up to three
years based on annual performance.
A consolidated amount ranging from Rs.40,000 p.m. to Rs. 70,000 per month depending on qualifications
and experience will be paid. In addition Rs. 3000 p.m. will be paid as local conveyance allowance.
The consultant shall not be entitled to any other allowance such a dearness allowance, residential
telephone, transport facility, residential accommodation, personal staff, CGHS, medical reimbursement
etc.
No TA/DA shall be admissible for joining the assignment or on its completion. They will be allowed TA/DA
for their travel inside the country in connections with the officials work as admissible to Government of
India officer with grade pay Rs. 8700/-.
Selected candidates would be eligible for 8 days Casual Leave in a year. How to Apply:
