International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) of TIFR invites applications for the post (two) of Project Accountant for its office at Bangalore. The individuals should be highly motivated persons having ‘hands on’ experience in dealing with accounting functions. The selected candidate shall be offered consolidated salary based on qualification and experience. The contract will be initially for a period of one year and may be further extended depending on the performance.
Essential Qualification:
- Graduate in Commerce with Advanced Accountancy, Auditing and Income Tax as subjects with 55% marks
- Knowledge of use of personal computer and its applications
- minimum three years of work experience in a similar job profile
Desirable Qualification:
- Knowledge of Tally ERP 9 is desirable
Job Profile:
To provide necessary support for administering the financial aspects of all the activities of the Centre. To prepare budgets for the Centre, including compilation & finalization of accounts and audit.
Upper Age limit: 30 years (as on 1.7.2013)
Tenure: Initial appointment will be for 1 year which may be extended depending upon performance. It is a project appointment.
Location: Bangalore
Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualification and potential and will not be a constraint for outstanding candidates. The selected candidate will be required to join immediately.
