Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management [SIOM] MBA (Operations Management)

MBA (Operations Management) is designed exclusively for Engineers to meet the needs of diverse sectors of economy viz. manufacturing, service, IT and consulting. The objective of the programme is to develop amongst the students, crystal clear, strategic understanding of Operations systems, their vital components, contributions, interactions with other functional areas and the analytical tools necessary to address practical and strategic issues in operations management. It also carves out the areas of Operations in various streams in SCM, Project management, Marketing, HR, Finance and IT in the form of Minor specializations. The curriculum motivates the students to understand the business environment holistically and imparts the business problem solving skills, with respect to the core values and changing times of the market. The curriculum also invites for associations with various leading institutions like KPMG, Dale Carnegie and APICS, ISM, PMI, etc. to raise the Industry readiness of the students. Live projects, Case study analysis, Personality development programs and various other academic initiatives help groom the students to face the challenging Industry situations. 
Eligibility of the Programme :

Graduate Engineers BE/ B Tech of any stream from statutory University with 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates)

Admission to SIOM can be obtained only through SNAP test. Students are required to follow below mentioned process:
Step-1:	Register for SNAP on http://snaptest.org/ and make the payment of Rs. 2000/-
Step-2:	After filling the SNAP form go to link https://oamssnap.blueshiftindia.com/snapcons/website/ and login with SNAP credentials
Step-3:	Choose SIOM
Step-4:	Appear for SNAP exam on 15th Dec, 2013
Step-5:	Merit list for PI-WAT process will be declared. Book a slot for the PI-WAT process
Step-6:	Appear for PI-WAT process
Step-7:	Declaration of final merit list
Step–8:	Join SIOM by paying the MBA (Operations) program's fees and completing other formalities
