Application Form: The application form can be obtained from the Commission's Office, Itanagar on all working days from 10 A.M to 4 P.M. on cash payment of Rs. 50/- only for APST candidate and Rs. 80/- only for General candidate.

How to Apply: The completed application in the prescribed format along with all relevant documents should be submitted in the Reception Counter in a cover/ envelop superscribed" Application for the post of UDC and obtain a receipt from the Counter to ensure his/ her submission of application form.

ADVERTISEMENT
Applications in prescribed format are invited from the citizens ofIndia for filling
up of 12 (twelve) posts of UDC under the AP Civil Secretariat in the Pay Band of
~. 5200-20,000 + GP ~ 28001- P.M plus other allowances as admissible to the Government
employees of Arunachal Pradesh. Out of 12 (twelve) posts, 10 (ten) posts are reserved for
APST candidates and 2 (two) posts are unreserved (open competition). The vacancy
position is subject to variation.
1. EDUCATION OUALIFICA TION :- Candidates applying for the post must possess
Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
2. AGE : - The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 28
years of age as on 25.11.2013. The Upper age limit is however, relaxable upto maximum of 5
years in case of APST candidates and another 5 years for State Govt. Employees in aCCOrd811Ce
with the orders issued by the Govt. from time to time.
3. METHOD OF .RECRUITMENT :- The candidates shall have to appear ill the written
examination to be conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission at Itanagar
on the following subjects followed by Viva-Voce.
(i) General Knowledge - 100 marks
(ii) General English - 100 marks
(iii) Elementary Mathematics - 100 marks
(iv) Viva-Voce ~ - 40 maries
. Total "" 340 marks
NOTE: - The candidates ho secure a minimum of 3:3% or more marks in each written
exam~nat~on paper and 45% . :' more ~larks out of aggregate total m~rks. in the written
examinatron papers shall be eli ible for viva-voce test. On the other hand, It will further mean
that selection for viva-voce te it shall be based on the aggregate total marks secured in the
written examination papers an subject to ratio 1:3. The candidates securing less tban 33% of
marks in any of written exami I tion paper shall not be eligible for appearing in the viva-voce
test. '
4.. AVAILABILITY OF PRESCRIBED APPLICATION FORMAT The Application
Form for admission to recruitment examination to the post ofUpper Division Clerk can be
obtained from the Commission's Office, Itanagar on all working days from 10 A.M to 4 P.M.
on cash payment of ~ 501- only for APST candidate and ~ 80/- only for General candidate. No
separate examination fee ill the form of DDI'f:i"easwy Challan. will be required along with the
application. The examination fee has been included with the cost of application form.
5. HOW TO APPLY: -Along with the duly filled up application, candidate must enclose the
following documents otherwise the application will be rejected.
(i) 2 (two) recent colour passport size photographs duly attested by a Gazetted Officer
which should be pasted on the space provided in the application form and attendance
sheet respectively:
Attested copy of Class- X passed Certificate for proof of age issued by the
recognized Board/University only will be accepted.
Attested copy of Degree Certificate and Mark-sheet issued by the recognized
BoardlUniversity.
Attested copy of APST Certificate.

All the supporting documents submitted by the candidates must bt attested by a Gaz tted
Officer with seal and signature of the attesting Officer other wise the ~pplication will be ,
rejected. . , !
6. LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATlON:-
The last date of receiving application by the Commission is up to 25.11.2013 till 4.00 PM.
7. OTHER RULES:- (i)The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a
candidate for admission to interview Or selection will be final and no correspondence/personnel
enquiries will be entertained.
(ii) Application in prescribed format alongwith necessary document should be submitted in the
Reception Counter in a cover/envelop superscribed" APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF

AFTER CLOSING DATE.
NOTE:- Application Form other than the one pro 1 red from the Arunachal Pradesh
Public Service Commissiqn, Itanagar will be summari rejected. No duplicate or typed
out Form will be entertained. Application Forms not fIlling the conditions given in the
advertisement and the conditions given in the app~cation forms shall be' rejected.
