Applications in the following forms on plain paper accompanied with a Bank Draft of Rs.400/- for General
categories candidate (SC/OBC candidates applying for un-reserved posts are not entitled to any relaxation in upper age limit
and application fee) from any scheduled Bank payable at Chandigarh in favour of the Joint Registrar, Cooperative Societies,
U.T., Chandigarh in the following performa along with self attested copies of certificates/degrees/proof of date of birth,
educational qualifications, testimonials and two latest passport size photographs duly attested should reach the Registrar,
Cooperative Societies, 30 Bays buildings, Sector-17, UT, Chandigarh either by Registered post or delivered in person within 15
days from the date of publication of this notice i.e. up to 11.11.2013 by 5.00 P.M.. Applications received after the due
date/time, by what ever mode, will not be entertained. No T.A./D.A. will be paid in this regard.
Government servants may apply through proper channel. Their advance applications will be considered
only if received through the respective Heads of the Department with No Objections Certificate as well as
Departmental/Vigilance clearance report.
Eligible candidates for the post of Inspector Grade-II (General) and Steno-typist for General category will be
required to appear for the written test, Stenography test and interview before the selection Committee on dates to be
conveyed later on. The final selection will be made on the basis of educational qualification, marks obtained in the written test
, Stenography test and interview.
The department reserves the right to reject/cancel any application without assigning any reason. The
department also reserves the right to decrease or increase the number of vacancies. The incomplete applications shall be
rejected straightway.
