Notice for walk in interview to the post of Junior Resident on ad-hoc basis
A walk in interview for appointment for the post of Junior Resident on ad-hoc basis for a period of
89 days extendable after completion of each 89 days with mandatory break of one day, up to a
maximum period of One year, provided that the service rendered has been found to be satisfactory
or Recruitment of Resident Doctors on regular basis whichever is earlier, will be held in the
Conference room of this hospital on 7th November 2013 (Thursday) between 10.00 A.M. to 12.00
Noon.
All eligible candidates who are interested for the same are requested to appear for the Walk-in-
Interview on the scheduled date and time with self-attested copies of testimonials and one
recent passport size photograph. Original certificates/documents are also required at the
time of interview for verification.
Total No. of Vacant Posts : 16
The posts are to be filled up on ad-hoc basis strictly on merit basis.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR RESIDENT [MBBS]:-
1. Qualifications :- MBBS degree form recognized University/Institute. Candidate must
have not completed one year Junior Residency from any Govt. Hospital.
2. Age Limit - As on 01.11.2013 shall be 40 years for General candidates, 45 years in case of
SC/ST and 43 years in case of OBC candidates in accordance of circular No.
F.No.121/26/2010/H&FW/1996-2045, dated 10.06.2011 issued by Health & Family
Welfare Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
3. Pay Scale:- Pay Band-3 plus GP Rs. 5400/- and other admissible allowances per month.
4. Internship:- The candidate having completed compulsory rotatory internship before
01/11/2013 shall not be eligible.
5. Must be registered with Delhi Medical Council.
6. Appointment will be initially for a period of 89 days extendable up to maximum of one
year on the basis of satisfactory work & conduct report from the concerned Incharge on
request from the doctor concerned.
7. Appointment will be subject to medical fitness and verification of certificate of educational
qualification/age/caste/DMC registration and internship completion certificate etc.
8. Junior Residents who have completed one year of Junior Residency shall also be
allowed to appear in the Interview and will be offered residency only if fresh candidates
for the post of Junior Residents are not available. There would be no extension for any
Junior Resident beyond one year of appointment under relaxed provision.
9. No. of vacant posts may vary.
10. The reservation for handicapped/ex-serviceman will be as per the Government rules.
11. There is no fee for appearing in the interview.
12. In case of large no. of candidates appearing for the post of J/Rs, the
interview for the remaining candidates may be held on the following day
i.e.
08/11/2013. However the day of registration shall be only one day i.e.
07/11/2013.
13. Selected candidates shall have to deposit Rs. 5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand
only) for Junior Residents as SECURITY DEPOSIT and satisfy other terms &
conditions of the offer letter for appointment.
14. Selected candidates shall be allowed to join within 07 days of issue of the
offer letter failing which the offer shall stand automatically cancelled.
Eligible candidates may appear in the interview with their biodata at the M.S. Office on the
date of interview at 9:00 a.m. with self attested copies of testimonials. Original
certificates/documents are also required at the time of interview for verification.

[I]. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE POST OF SENIOR RESIDENT :-
1. Qualification:- MBBS with Post graduate degree/DNB/Diploma or
equivalent as per Residency Scheme in concerned specialty from a
recognized University/Institute. Must not have completed 03 years Senior
Residency in any recognized institute including regular or Ad-hoc basis.
2. Age Limit - As on 01.11.2013 shall be 40 years for General candidates, 45
years in case of SC/ST and 43 years in case of OBC candidates in accordance
of circular No. F.No.121/26/2010/H&FW/1996-2045, dated 10.06.2011 issued
by Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
3. Pay Scale:- Pay Band-3 plus GP Rs. 6600 and other admissible allowances per
month.
4. The candidate must have completed internship and have valid registration
with Delhi Medical Council.
5. Appointment will be for a period of 89 days initially and will be extendable
further after a mandatory break of one day after each 89 days up to a
maximum period of 03 years on the basis of satisfactory work & conduct
report from concerned HOD and on request from the doctor concerned.
6. Appointment will be subject to Medical fitness and verification of certificates
of educational qualification/age/cast/DMC registration and internship
completion certificate etc.
[II] GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR RECRUITMENT:
[1] All the eligible candidates should report in the office of the undersigned at 9.00
AM. {Time for enrollment shall be from 10.00 A.M. to 12.00 noon only} on the
day of interview.
[2] For candidates applying for OBC category, the certificate must be
issued by the Competent Authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
[3] The reservation for handicapped/ex-serviceman will be as per the Government rules.
[4] The number of vacancies may vary.
[5] No TA/DA will be given for appearing in the interview.
[6] Candidates are advised to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria
as mentioned in the advertisement before appearing the interview.
[7] Other service conditions will be applicable as per service conditions prescribed
from time-to-time by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
[8] Jurisdiction of Dispute - In case of any legal dispute the jurisdiction of court will
be Delhi/New Delhi.
[9] There is no fee for appearing in the interview.
