Eligibility for Admission (Indian students)
Graduate with minimum 50% marks for general (open) category and 45% marks for students of SC and ST category.
Note:
- Students awaiting results of the final year examination can apply but their admission will be provisional and subject to fulfillment of the minimum percentage criterion. Diploma holders are not eligible
- It is the responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they possess the requisite qualifications for admission. Having been admitted provisionally does not mean acceptance of eligibility. Final eligibility of admission will be decided by Symbiosis International University

For Candidates who wish to apply as Resident Indian Nationals (Domestic students)
Step 1: Please read the entire SNAP Bulletin, especially Section 4, before filling in the registration form.
Step 2: Register online on www.snaptest.org (from September 5, 2013 to November 22, 2013).
Note: Any Changes in the online application form can be made only up to the closing date of Registration i.e. Friday, November 22nd, 2013. No change is permitted after this under any circumstances.
Step 3: Pay for SNAP test. Modes of Payment for the SNAP Test process
Given below are instructions for payment of SNAP Test fee of Rs. 2000/- (from September 5, 2013 to November 26, 2013).
ONLINE PAYMENT THROUGH CREDIT CARD:
The candidate may pay directly through Master or Visa card online by following the instructions on the SNAP website after the registration.

The candidate may transfer SNAP test fee to Symbiosis Test Secretariat account using Net Banking option after the registration.

PAYMENT THROUGH CASH:
After online SNAP 2013 registration, print Axis Bank or Indian Bank Challan’ from the SNAP website. It is in 3 parts. Pay Rs. 2000/- in cash at any Axis Bank or Indian Bank branch in your city. Refer to the list of branches on the website. The bank will return two stamped parts of the Axis Bank or Indian Bank Challan’ to the candidate.

Candidates need to keep the Candidate copy as payment receipt. Sign the stamped Symbiosis copy’ of the Axis Bank or Indian Bank Challan’ and send it to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at the address given in this page.
PAYMENT THROUGH DEMAND DRAFT:
Obtain a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 2,000/- from any Nationalized Bank in favor of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

Step 4: Program Registration Process
- Only those candidates who have registered and paid for SNAP 2013’ will be eligible for program registration process.
- This is a single window for registration. Candidate can register for any program offered by any constituent institute. Candidate has the facility of registering for multiple programs with savings on overall cost of registration. A candidate is required to choose the programs that he/she wishes to apply to. To do so, visit www.snaptest.org and select programs for which you would wish to be considered for admission. There is no limit to the number of programs that a candidate may apply to. To be considered for MBA – Banking & Finance, select the programme MBA- Banking & Finance” offered by SSBF.

Important instructions to the candidates who have opted to pay through Demand Draft/ Cash.
• The candidates who are paying through cash or DD should ensure the following:
- 1) Symbiosis Copy of Axis Bank Challan or Indian Bank Challan for cash payment.
- 2) Demand Drafts and Payment Advice Form for Demand Draft payment.

• NRI candidates are requested to check the eligibility requirements on www.scie.ac.in before registering for SNAP Test 2013
• No changes are permitted in the SNAP online form after the closing date (November, 22nd 2013) of SNAP Test Registration
• Symbiosis Test Secretariat will not be held responsible for non-delivery or any delay on the part of Courier/ Postal Services
• SNAP Registration Fee & Program Registration Fee is non-refundable. No claims for refund will be entertained
Any attempt to impersonate or indulge in any malpractice, identified at any stage of the admission process would disqualify the candidate from the admission processes to all MBA programs of Symbiosis International University and may also lead to appropriate legal action as deemed fit.
Step 6: Download Admit Card
1. SNAP Test Admit Card should be printed from the SNAP website [www.snaptest.org] which will be available from, Monday, December 02nd, 2013, till Sunday, December 15th, 2013.
2. Admit Card along with Photo Identity proof should be carried to the Test Centre at the time of the test. An acceptable photo identity is any one of the following,

Step 7: Appear for SNAP Test on December 15, 2013. For guidelines regarding SNAP test please refer to Section 2 of the SNAP Bulletin
Step 8: Book the common PI-WAT slot of your preference if shortlisted. The candidate will be required to book the location, date and time slot for the common PI-WAT process. Information of the process to be followed for booking of slots will be communicated when the shortlist is announced.
Step 9: Appear for common PI-WAT process if shortlisted. Details of the common PI-WAT are given in Section 4 of the SNAP bulletin. The same has been given after Step 10 for ready reference.
Step 10: After the PI-WAT process is completed, the University will declare the final merit list for each program category-wise. The weights for selection of candidates for programmes of the constituent institutes of SIU are given in Section 5 of the SNAP Bulletin. Pay the Fees for MBA – Banking Management if selected.
Reservation Policy
As per the UGC Regulations/ Guidelines, following will be the reservation policy for admission to any program of Institutes of SIU (except Symbiosis Institutes of Management Studies, which has a separate policy)
a. Within Sanctioned Intake
- Scheduled Caste (SC) : 15%
- Scheduled Tribes (ST) : 7.5%
- 3% seats reserved for "differently abled candidates - for blind, hearing impaired (deaf/dumb) and with orthopedic disorders or mentally challenged candidates". The minimum degree of disability should be 40% in order to be eligible under this category
b. Over & Above Intake
- Kashmiri Migrants : 2 Seats per program
- International Candidates : 15%
Candidates applying from categories other than Open Category are required to submit valid supporting document (s) at the time of PI-WAT (if shortlisted).

The Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE)
The Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE) is a department of the University, providing leadership & support for the University's efforts to internationalize the campus and the curricula. The admissions are centralized for all the constituent institutes of Symbiosis International University and routed through SCIE. The online admission facility has made it possible for all candidates to apply from different parts of the world.

A candidate is eligible to apply as a Non Resident Indian (NRI) if he/she has appeared either for the 10+2 (equivalent to the Indian 10+2) examination or Graduation outside India. It is mandatory for one of the two qualifying examinations to be given outside India.
