Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune, is a premier autonomous
Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of
India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country.
The Institute invites applications for the following positions from Indian nationals possessing
excellent academic record and relevant work experience.
Initial appointment shall be for duration of one year extendable for further period of one year
depending upon progress of the campus construction. All the posts are contractual, purely on
temporary basis and coterminous with the campus construction project
Post – 1 Executive Engineer (Civil)

Experience
BE (Civil) with minimum 12 years of relevant experience in execution
of construction/maintenance works in Govt./semi Govt.
organizations.
Retired (Superannuated / VRS) Executive Engineers or Assistant
Engineers with at least 7 years relevant experience from
CPWD/PWD/MES services may also be considered.
Post – 2 Executive Engineer (Electrical)

Experience
Bachelor degree or equivalent degree with minimum 55%
marks/equivalent grade. Should have computer operation
knowledge. Candidate with short hand expertise may be preferred.
Minimum 3 years experience in estate department of Government
organizations / reputed construction companies.
Age Not more than 35 years as on closing date of advertisement
General Information / details about the posts
1) The qualification prescribed should have been obtained from recognized Universities/ Institutions.
2) The prescribed essential qualifications/experience indicated are bare minimum and mere possessions
of same will not entitle the applicants to be called for selection process. Where number of applications
received in response to an advertisement is large, it may not be convenient or possible for the Institute
to call all the applicants. The Institute may restrict the number of applicants to be called for selection
process to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than that of the
minimum prescribed in the advertisement. The applicants should, therefore, furnish details of all the
qualifications and experience possessed in the relevant field, over and above the minimum
qualifications / experience prescribed.
3) Relaxation in age, educational qualification and / or experience may be considered in case of
exceptionally meritorious applicants, with prior approval of the Competent Authority.
4) Canvassing in any form and / or bringing any influence, political, or otherwise, will be treated as a
disqualification for the post applied for.

(www.iiserpune.ac.in – Opportunities) with details of date, time and venue. Candidates will be informed by
email only and no separate correspondence will be done. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the
selection process.
When called for the selection process, candidates will have to bring printed copy of the online application (affix
color passport size photograph on application), certificates in support of age, qualification, experience and other
documents in support of the information submitted in the online application.
