On behalf of the Research Authority, we welcome you to the University of Haifa! Our mission is to enhance, support, and promote postdoctoral training here at the University of Haifa and to help prepare postdoctoral scholars for successful careers. Each year the University welcomes approximately 50 new postdoc applicants that are integrated into the various Faculties and Centers. International fellows arrive from all over the world and from assorted disciplines. The fellowships are funded by the following: internal research budget of the supervisor, the council for higher education, the Research Authority, the Rector's Office and the internal budgets of the various departmental units. Amongst the tens of applicants that approach us, only the most successful and talented are accepted, those who show signs of advancing a promising scientific career. We have designed this website to connect you with people, policies, programs, and resources aimed at helping you succeed here at the University. The Israeli Council for Higher Education is offering postdoctoral fellowships to researchers from China and India. This program seeks to attract promising scholars who will contribute significantly to the academic excellence at one of the Universities in Israel. 

Eligibility:The fellowships are available for postdoctoral training in all areas of study offered at the University of Haifa.
Applicants must hold a PhD with no more than 3 years passing at the time of submission.

Fellowship Award:
The Fellowship provides support for up to three years at an annual stipend of approximately US $ 27,000 (subsistence award).
