1. Essential qualification: Ph.D. in Physical/Chemical science
2. Desired qualification: Experience of working in experimental soft matter science/polymer science/molecular biophysics as evidenced from publications.

4. Remuneration per month: Rs. 23, 000+HRA

JRF: One post

Minimum qualification: Candidate should be M.Sc. in Life Sciences/Biochemistry/Chemistry with a good academic record.
Candidates should have at least one year of research experience in a relevant field with practical knowledge of handling Candida cell cultures and molecular biology techniques such as cloning, extraction of RNA and DNA etc.

Project Assistant: One post

Minimum qualification: The candidate must have at least two years of experience working in a life science lab.

"One Junior Research Fellow (JRF)" in the DST project project on "Structural and functional analysis of M. tuberculosis vaccine candidate EspC protein" at School of Life Sciences, Jawarharlal Nehru University.

1. For JRF:
Education: M.Sc in any branch of biological science with prior experience in structure and functional analysis of proteins.

Desirable : Proficiency in Gene cloning, Mutagensis, Protein expression in E. coli & Yeast system, protein refolding & purification, Crystallization & X-ray structure analysis, Modeling & Dynamics simulation work. The candidate should be CSIR/UGC/NET qualified.

Fellowship: Rs. 16,000+HRA

Tenure : The position is purely temporary, renewable six months and will continue until June, 2016 (the end of project) based on satisfactory performance.

Applications are invited for two posts of a SRF and a JRF in a DST sponsored major research project on Gender Atlas with a fixed salary of Rs.14000 and Rs. 12000 respectively plus HRA/-p.m initially for six months likely to be extended for another year. -

Qualifications for SRF:

Essential: At least Second class M. Phil in geography with Master's Degree in Geography with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH candidates).
Experience in data- handling (Census, NSSO, NFHS etc.).

Desirable: Specialization in Human Geography. Research experience in gender and development related issues. Acquaintance with web-GIS will be an added advantage.

Qualifications for JRF:

Essential: At least Second class M. A. in geography with Master's Degree in Geography with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH candidates).
Experience in data- handling (Census, NSSO, NFHS etc.).

Desirable: Specialization in Human Geography. Acquaintance with GIS will be an added advantage.
