NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (NBRC), Manesar-122 050, Gurgaon, requires a “Senior R& D
Engineer” for signal and image processing.
Interested candidates fulfilling the following requirement can submit their bio-data along with
attested copies of certificates in support of their qualifications and experience mentioned in the biodata latest by 20th October 2013 to “The Registrar, National Brain Research Centre, Nainwal Mode,
Manesar-122 051, Gurgaon (Haryana)
Minimum qualifications:
• B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics with at least 60% marks (or an equivalent grade
in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and peer-reviewed
publication in indexed journal.
Or
• M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics plus minimum six months research experience
in medical signal/image processing area
Mandatory requirement: Two pages statement of purpose (application without SOP will not be
screened)
Desirable qualifications:
• Training and expertise in GUI development for signal processing
• Research experience with pattern recognition and brain computer interface
are encouraged to apply
• Candidates who are fluent in English and have experience writing scientific
manuscripts will be preferred
Age limit: 35 years at the date of advertisement
Duties Include:
• Medical Signal/Image processing – MRI images and MRS/fMRI data from brain
• Research data analysis technique development
Mode of appointment: In a project with a fellowship -` 35,000/- p.m. + 3% increment per year

Contract:
The contract will be initially for a period of one year, extendable up to five
years based on annual performance review. The post will be co-terminus with
the project. Selected candidates will be required to abide by the rules and
