1] Required Qualification :
 Category – I : Engineering Graduate Apprentices :-

 A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University
 A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an institution
empowered to grant such degree by an Act of parliament.
 Graduate examination of professional bodies recognized by the Central
Government as equivalent to degree.

 Category – II : Technician(Diploma Holder) Apprentices :-

 A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or
Board of Technical Education established by a State Government.
 A Diploma in Engineering or Technology by an University.
 A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by an institute recognized
by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.


 Category – III : Technician(Vocational) Apprentices :-

 A Certificate in vocational course involving two years of study after the
completion of the secondary stage of school education recognized by All
India Council for Technical Education.

2] Age : Not less than fourteen years and upper age limit is 30 years as on
 01.01.2014 . The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 yrs for SC/ST
 candidate,3 years for OBC candidate and 10 yrs Persons with Disability.
3] Reservation:
 The provisions of Govt. directives for engagement of Apprentices in
 SC/ST/OBC/PWD Category will be applicable.
4] Selection:
 Selection will be done through personal interview/test

5] Other Term and conditions:

 * No Engineering graduate or diploma holder or vocational certificate holder who
 had training or job experience for a period of one year or more, after the
 attainment of the required qualifications shall be eligible for being engaged as an
 apprentice under the Act.

 Candidates who have secured 60% and above marks in their Final Examination in
2013-2014 will be preferred..
 The Training will be governed by the Apprentices Act 1961 as Amended in 1973
& 1986.
 Only general medical check-up free of cost at our HPC,NPM Hospital.
 Apprentices will not be provided accommodation and will be required to make
their own boarding & lodging arrangements. However, Company vacant quarters
may be provided on request subject to availability on chargeable basis.
 No T.A. will be given at the time of selection test / interview as well as at the time
of joining training.
 No transport facilities will be given.
 No promise of employment after expiry of training period.
 Carry out all obligations under the Apprentices Act 1961 as Amended in 1973
 & 1986.
 Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
