RECRUITMENT RULES FOR THE POST OF SENIOR RESIDENT IN VARIOUS FIELDS
1. SENIOR RESIDENTS (ANAESTHESIA & CRITICAL MEDICINE)
(i) Upper Age Limit: 33 years;
(ii) Post: 04 (UR-02, OBC-1, SC-01)
(iii) Pay Scale: `15,600 - 39,100 + GP ` 6600/- (PB-3)
(iv) Qualifications:
i). MBBS or equivalent qualification recognised by MCI
ii). Post Graduate qualifications like MD/DNB in Anaesthesia recognised by the Medical Council of
India
(v) Experience:
Desirable:
(i) Additional training or qualification in the specialized clinical or research procedures pertaining
to oncology.
(ii) Research publications in the concerned speciality.
2. SENIOR RESIDENTS (CANCER SURGERY)
(i) Upper Age Limit: 33 years;
(ii) Post: 04 (UR-03, SC-01)
(iii) Pay Scale: ` 15,600 - 39,100 + ` GP 6600/- (PB-3)
(iv) Qualifications:
i). MBBS or equivalent qualification recognised by MCI
ii). MS/MD/DNB in General Surgery/Gynaecology preferably with 2 years experience from a
dedicated cancer hospital during/after post graduation
OR
iii). MCh in Cancer Surgery/GI Surgery/CTVS/Paediatrics/Urology/Gynaecology from a recognised
hospital preferably with experience in surgery of cancers at the concerned sites.
(v) Experience:
Desirable:
(i) Additional training or qualification in the specialized clinical or research procedures pertaining
to oncology.
(ii) Research publications in the concerned speciality.
3. SENIOR RESIDENTS (LABORATORY MEDICINE [BIOCHEMISTRY])
a). Upper Age Limit: 33 years;
b). Post: 04 (UR-03, SC-01)
c). Pay Scale: 15,600 - 39,100 + GP 6600/- (PB-3)
d). Qualifications:
i). MBBS or equivalent qualification recognised by MCI
ii). Post Graduate qualifications like MD/DNB in Biochemistry/Laboratory Medicine recognised by the
Medical Council of India
e). Experience:
Desirable:
(i) Additional training or qualification in the specialized clinical or research procedures pertaining to
oncology.
(ii) Research publications in the concerned speciality.
