Qualification:

Assistant Professor/Scientist

Qualification:  Essential

1.     Master Degree in relevant subject of Agriculture/Agricultural EngineeringNeterinary faculty with at least 55% marks (or its equivalent grade 6.50 in 10.00 scales) with good academic. record.

2.    For the candidates having Master's degree, NET (National Eligibility Test) shall remain compulsory alongwith one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated referred journal for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted. Essentiality of NET can be waved off for the candidates holding Ph.D. degree provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations 2009 and the candidate has at least two full-length publications having a NASS rating not less than 4 on the last date of submission of application. Candidates with Ph.D. degree without course work will not qualify for NET exemption.

Technical Assistant

Qualification:  Essential

Master's degree in relevant subjects of Agriculture with at least 55% marks or  2.75/4.00 OCGA or  6.50/10.00 OGPA from any recognized University.

Note:- Good academic record indicates a candidate applying for respective post shall have (i) Second

Class Master's Degree (55% and above). Oi) Second Class Bachelor Degree (55% and above). (iii) No

third Division in entire career from Higher Secondary and onwards.  ~

Age limit:­

The applicants age shall not be more than 35 years for the post of Assistant Professor/Scientist and Technical Assistant. Upper age limit shall be determined as on the date of 01.07.2013. Relaxation in upper age limit to ST/ SC/OBC and women candidates will be provided as per C.G. Govt. Rules.

Note ­

(i)    Assistant Professor/Scientist and Assistant Librarian: - There will be no age bar for the employees/officers of the Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur working in regular services/post.

(ii)    Technical Assistant :- There will be no age limit for the employees/officers/ Contractual/Daily wagers workers of the Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur.

(iii)   The Permanent/temporary/contractual employees of government of Chhattisgarh or any undertaking of government of Chhattisgarh will be entitled for age relaxation as per government rules.

(iv)  As per the order of Govt. of Chhattisgarh the upper age limit for the bonafide resident of Chhattisgarh will be 40 years. However the age should not be above 45 years including all relaxation.

The prescribed application form, qualifications, age limit and other details of various posts are available at Vishwavidyalaya Website  www.igau.edu.in Interested ClPplicants may download the application form and submit along with a fee of ~ 500/- for Unreserved and OBC categories and ~ 250/­ for ST&SC categories (subject to production of attested copy of the S.T.lS.C. Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority of the State of Chhattisgarh) in shape of Bank Draft of any nationalized bank drawn in favour of "Registrar, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur" payable at Raipur within due date. The advertisement No., name of the post, Subject and its serial number should be clearly mentioned on the enyelope of filled application form. Applicants applying for more than one post must submit separate application for each post. Application on prescribed form, completed in all respects together with all testimonials, should reach to the Registrar, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Krishak Nagar, Raipur - 492012 (Chhattisgarh) INDIA on or before 15.11.2013 by Post. Applications received after due date shall not be considered.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:­

1.       Reservation forST/SC/OBC candidates Shall be available as per the Chhattisgarh Lok Seva (Anusuchit Jatiyon, Anusuchit Jan Jatiyon Aur Anya Pichhade Vargon ke Liye Arakshan)

Sansodhan Niyam 2011, 2012. The applicant under Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Class category should be a bonafide resident of Chhattisgarh and should be a member of Schedule caste/Schedule tribe/Other backward Class which have been included in the list of respective category as notified from time-to-time for Chhattisgarh State.

2.       The Vishwavidyalaya reserves the right to increase/decrease or not to fill up any of the post, to fix criteria for calling the candidates for interview and/or not to call any of the applicants on account of sufficient reasons for interview. No appeal will be accepted/ entertained in this matter and Vishwavidyalaya's decision will be final.

3.       30% reservation will be available for female applicant in each category as per rules.

4.       6% reservation will be available for Physically Handicapped (disabled) applicants as per rule.

5.       The selected candidates shall be governed by the Vishwavidyalaya rules and service conditions.

6.       Applicants must have achieved the requisite qualifICations and experience on or before 15.11.2013.

7.       Applications not accompanied with copies of certificates, degrees, mark sheets/transcripts in support of academic qualifications and experience shall be rejected.

8.       Applications not accompanied with application fees shall be rejected. Application fee once paid shall not be refunded in any case.

9.       Applicants for the post of Technical Assistant should be bonafide resident of Chhattisgarh.

10.    Persons already in service must apply through proper channel. However to avoid delay, an advance copy of application alongwith requisite fees, may be submitted, so as to reach within the prescribed time limit. Please write on top of the form "ADVANCE COPY". Such applicants must produce NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE and NO ENQUIRY CERTIFICATE from their present employer at the time of interview.

11.    The applicants shall be required to present themselves before the selection committee, if called for interview, at their own expenses. ST/SC applicants will be allowed traveling allowance as per Vishwavidyalaya rules.

12.    Applicants from reserved category (ST/SC/OBC) who applied for respective category are required to enclose Caste Certificate issued by competent authority. Applicants appointed on resel;Ved posts will have to submit an undertaking in prescribed format regarding their cast certificate. In case their certificate found illegal or fake their appo'intment will be terminated and they will be punished as per law.

13.     Higher Initial start may be granted to deserving applicants.

14.     Appointment to the post shall be temporary and the selected candidate will be kept on probation for two years and their service may be terminated if probation is not clear.

15.    Selected candidates will be posted in different Colleges and Research Station of Vishwavidyalaya, located in different districts of Chhattisgarh.
