All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur is one of the new AIIMS
and apex healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family
Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna
(PMSSY). With the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level
healthcare in the country, and attaining self sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate
medical education and training, the PMSSY planned to set up new AIIMS institutions in
underserved areas of the country.
The Director, AIIMS Raipur invites applications from Indian Nationals for

NOTE:- I. The above vacancies are provisional and subject to variation. The
Director, AIIMS, Raipur reserves the right to vary the vacancies including
reserved vacancies as per the Govt. of India rules/circulars and
requirements. The reservation will be as per Govt of India guidelines.
II. Age and all other qualifications will be counted as on last date of
receipt of application.
III. The period of experience wherever prescribed shall be counted after
obtaining the prescribed qualification.
(A) APPLICATION PROCESS: Advertisement and online Application module is hosted
at
DETAILS
www.aiimsraipur.edu.in. Application can be filled online at
ww.aiimsraipur.edu.in. The printed copy of the on-line application and the attested
photocopies of all relevant certificates along with the originals must be brought at
the time of interview. The on-line filling up of application form will start on 26th
Oct 2013 and will automatically close on 25th Nov 2013 at 5.00 PM.
(B) APPLICATION FEE: The application fees of Rs. 800/- (Rs.300 for SC/ST candidates) is
to be made for AIIMS, Raipur payable at Raipur. Payment is to be made on-line. This
fee once remitted will not be refunded.
(C) FROM OTHER INSTITUTES: Those who are working in Central/State Government/
/Semi Government Autonomous body have to submit “No Objection Certificate”
from their respective organization along with their application.
(D) ANNEXURES: Attested photocopies of Degrees, Certificates, Mark sheets, Age
proof, Caste certificates etc. may be annexed to the hard copy of the application
to be produced in original along with photocopy for verification at the time of
interview.
(E) AGE LIMIT: 50 (Fifty) years. However, relaxable for Government Servants,
Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or otherwise exceptionally qualified applicants
up-to 5 years and 3 years in the case of Other Backward Class candidates. Upper
age limit will be taken as on closing date of submission of applications.
(F) SHORT LISTING: Based on bio-data, the Selection Committee may short-list
candidates for interview. Candidates called for interview will have to produce all
relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their application at the
time of interview.
(G) SITE OF INTERVIEW: The interview may be held at AIIMS, Raipur or at New
Delhi. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized
institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying
degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Or
Twelve years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized
institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying
degree of M.Ch./D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after
MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification
recognized equivalent thereto.
Or
Eleven years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized
institution in the subject of specialty for the candidates
possessing 3 years recognized degree of D.M/M.Ch in the
respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent
thereto.
ESSENTIAL FOR NON-MEDICAL CANDIDATES
1. Post graduate qualification e.g. Masters degree in the

XI. Pay:
1. Professor: Pay Band-4: Rs.37400-67000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.10500
(Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only) with the minimum pay of
Rs.51600/- and AGP of Rs.10500/-. Up to 40% of posts of Professors will get Higher
Administrative (HAG) scale subject to clearance of the prescribed process.
2. Additional Professor: Pay Band-4: Rs.37400-67000 with Academic Grade Pay of
Rs.9500 (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only) with minimum Pay
being Rs.46000/- and AGP of Rs.9500/-
3. Associate Professor: Pay Band-4: Rs.37400-67000 with Academic Grade Pay of
Rs.9000 (Plus NPA for medically qualified candidates only) with minimum Pay being
Rs.42800/- and AGP of Rs.9000/-
4. Assistant Professor: Pay Band-3: Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 8000
with a minimum of Rs.30,000/- + NPA. (NPA for medically qualified candidates
only) With provision to move to PB-4 after three years (Rs.37400-67000) with
Grade Pay of Rs.8700/- Plus Usual Allowances admissible to equivalent posts in
Government of India
XII. Promotions: A Teacher gaining requisite experience for the higher post can be
granted promotion subject to the Rules and Regulations applicable from time to
time in the Central Government Institutions/ AIIMS.
XIII. Clearances: Appointments are subject to clearances as for equivalent posts in
Government of India
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. The candidate who is already in government service shall submit ‘No Objection
Certificate’ from the present employer at the time of Interview.
2. Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
3. The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not
entitle any candidate for selection.
4. The appointment is full time and private practice of any type is strictly prohibited.
5. He/She is expected to conform to the rules of conduct and discipline as applicable to the
institute employees.
6. The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
7. In case any information given or declaration by the candidate is found to be false or if
the candidate has wilfully suppressed any material information relevant to this
appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from the service and action taken as
deemed fit by the appointing authority.
8. The decision of the competent authority regarding selection of candidates will be final
and no representation will be entertained in this regard.
9. Applications incomplete in any aspect will be summarily rejected.
10. The Competent Authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation
and changes to this advertisement as a whole or in part without assigning any
reason or giving notice.
11. The appointment will be subject to review and probation for two years.
