The employment notification published in the University website vide no. WBUAFS/ Estb/ R-2/03 (Pt. II)/
2266 dated 26.09.2013 is hereby partially modified and replaced as follows : -

Qualifications and age for the Post of Professor:
a)
1. An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification (s) in the concerned/ relevant discipline and published work of
high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work, within a minimum of 10
publications as books/ and or research/ policy papers.
2. A minimum ten years of teaching experience in University/ College, and/ or experience in research at the
University/ National level institutions/ industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at
doctoral level.
3. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology – mediated
teaching learning process.
4. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on ICAR regulation/
UGC’s regulation on minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers and other academic staff in
Universities and Colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in Higher Education – 2010.
OR
b) An outstanding professional, with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant
contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.
* Candidates for Sl. No. 1 to 10 must possess B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree as basic qualification and should be registered
with the State Veterinary Council/ Veterinary Council of India.

The University reserves all right to alter/modify or cancel any condition/post at any stage without assigning
any reasons. Persons already employed should apply through proper channel, an advance copy of the same may be
sent directly to the Registrar (Actg.). University has absolute right to cancel the programme of recruitment without any
prior notice and without assigning any reason thereof. Applications received after expiry of the last date will not be
