Educational and other qualifications
Essential:
1) Medical qualification included in the first or the second schedule or part II of the third
schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act,
1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in part II of the third schedule
should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in section 13(3) of the Indian Medical
Council Act, 1956.
2) Post-graduate degree such as MD (CHA)/MD (PSM)/MD (Community Medicine) or
an equivalent degree of a recognized University / Institute.
3) Four years experience as Reader/Associate Professor in the subject concerned in a
Medical College or in an equivalent grade in a research/training institution.
4) Evidence of published work of high quality during the last 4 years.
Desirable:
1) Three years administrative experience in responsible position.
2) Experience in training/planning and conducting epidemiological studies/surveys.

7. Medical Officer (Male) (Reproductive Bio-Medicine): - One Post (UR)

employees of autonomous Institutes under Govt.)
Educational and other qualifications
Essential:
1) A recognized medical qualification in the first or the second schedule (other than
licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of
educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third schedule should also
fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub section (3) of 13 of the Indian Medical
Council Act, 1956.2) One years’ house job in Paediatrics/Obstetrics and Gynaecology/ Medicine/
Maternal & Child Health Care Surgery.
Desirable
At least 3 years experience in providing in the field of family planning/
including Infertility/ Obstetrics & Gynaecology/ Surgery/ Paediatrics/ Maternal and
Child Health Care or any other related field in a recognized Institution.
GENERAL
Age limit as on 1

Govt. Service etc. as per Central Govt. Rules.
The minimum degree of disability in order for a person to be eligible for any
concessions / benefits would be 40%.
