1.0 Applications are invited from Indian Citizens, for recruitment to posts in Pay Band A 5,200 –
20,200 in Southern Railway, against Cultural quota and Scouts & Guides quota for the
year 2013 – 2014, as indicated below :

Applications are invited for the following posts:

Cultural (Classical Dance, Instrumental-Veena): 02 Posts Qualification: Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Music from Government recognised institute. Scouts & Guides: 14 Posts Qualification: Presidents Scout/ Guide/ Ranger/ Rover (or) Himalayan Wood Badge Holder (or) A pre-HWB trained Scout Leader/ Advanced Trained Guider/ Leader/ Captain, Should have been an active member of a Scouts organisation for at least 3 (three) years. Age Limit (As on 01/01/2014): 18-30 years for Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- & 18-33 years for Rs. 1,800/-. Examination Fee: Rs.100/- for post with grade pay of Rs.1,800/- & Rs. 40/- for post with grade pay of Rs.1,900/- (For SC/ ST/ Ex- Serviceman, PWD, Women, Minorities, EBC are exempted) in the form of DD/ Indian Postal Orders drawn in favour of ’Assistant Personnel Officer / Recruitment’, payable at Chennai.
