NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad invites applications for the following regular/ long- term contract/ contractual positions:

1. Associate Professor (Finance):Qualifications:First class or equivalent in Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent and PhD or equivalent in appropriate discipline. Post PhD publications and guiding PhD scholars is highly desirable. Minimum of five years experience in teaching and/or research and/or industry of which at least two years shall be post PhD is desirable. 2. Assistant Professor (Law, Sociology, Political Science, History, English & Economics) Qualifications: i). Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. ii). Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/ SET. iii). Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii), candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of PhD degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/ SET. 3. University Engineer Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in quality control, QS and State Government procedures to supervise the construction works of the University or more than 10 years of experience in senior positions. Deputation / Retired State Government Engineers having experience in the field can also apply directly. International experience in big projects would be an additional advantage. 4. Assistant Engineer (Civil) Qualifications: B.Tech. Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of five years of field experience to supervise the construction works of the university. Candidates, who have applied for aforementioned post during June, 2013 need not apply. 5. Assistant Registrar Qualifications: Good academic record plus Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven- point scale from a recognised university. Three years of experience of supervisory nature in administrative matter in a university/ research establishment/ other institutions of higher education. Preference will be given to the candidates having awareness of modern tools of communication, computer efficiency, capability of working in multi- task environment and adequate knowledge in Administration/ Establishment matters. 6. Stenographer: Qualifications: i). Graduate in any discipline. ii). Shorthand English (Lower); Typewriting English (Higher); and Computer Knowledge. 7. Junior Accountant: Qualifications: B.Com. with three years of work experience in Accounts having knowledge of TALLY or any other accounting packages. Preference will be given to the candidates who have passed Stage–II (Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) in Chartered Accountancy and /or having work experience in educational institutions. Fee: Bank DD for Rs. 1000/- (for the posts at S.Nos.1 to 5) and Rs. 750/- (for the posts at S.Nos.6&7) drawn in favour of Registrar, NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.
