MERIT SCHOLARSHIP AY 2014-15

Pearl Academy has instituted one Merit Scholarship in each regular UG / PG / Masters programme, with at least 30 enrollments, at all Centre’s to the enrollees who register the best performance in the entrance test (exam + interview), subject to minimum requirements of performance.

Merit Scholarship waives payment of tuition fee for the first / current academic year. Merit Scholarships are awarded for subsequent academic years only to students who have topped their particular programme cohorts, subject to minimum requirements of performance.

Educational Loan facilitation is available to the awardees in the first year to cover other payable fee/charges.

MERIT-CUM-MEANS SCHOLARSHIP (NEW ENTRANTS) AY 2014-15

The Academy awards Merit-cum-Means Scholarships to new entrants (all centers) in all regular UG / PG / Masters Programmes – which allows meritorious students with limited means to benefit from world class education in Art, Design & Fashion offered at Pearl Academy.

The Merit-cum-Means scholarship provides partial waiver of tuition fee for the current academic year / first year only, to a maximum of 10% of new entrants each year in the following categories:

• Category-1: 50% waiver of Tuition fee
• Category-2: 25% waiver of Tuition fee

Merit Criterion : Performance in (10+2 examination / Graduation level), Pearl Entrance examination / personal interview.
Means Criterion : Students whose annual gross parental / family income from all sources is maximum Rs. 4,50,000/- are only eligible to apply.
Additional weightage : Wards of single parents.

All eligible students fulfilling the above criteria and desirous of availing Merit-cum-Means (New Entrants) Scholarships should submit their duly filled Scholarship application along with the print out of their ‘Application Form for Admissions 2013′ supported by attested copies of the following documentsfor proof of Parental Income (whichever applicable):

• Attested copies of last three financial years (2011-12, 2012-13, 2014-15) – Income Tax Return / Salary Certificate / Annual Income Declaration / Affidavit.
• Annual Income Declaration / Affidavit of income duly attested by a Gazetted Revenue Officer or First Class Magistrate to be attached in original with Application Form. The affidavit must be typed in English or Hindi and not in any other language.

Please Note:

• A student is eligible for award of any one scholarship scheme instituted by the Academy.
• The decision for award of Scholarships by the Academy’s Scholarship committee will be final & binding.
