IIIT-H is inviting applications for Spring 2014 session from the candidates who have completed B.Tech./B.E./B.Arch. etc., in any branch of Engineering, or M.Tech./M.E./MCA/M.Sc.. for admission into Research programs in the areas of Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Admission into M.S. by Research/Ph.D. Programmes is very flexible at IIIT Hyderabad. A student in an Engineering Stream in any field/area can seek admission into any other field/area for higher studies. For instance, a candidate who has completed B.Tech. in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering can apply for M.S./Ph.D. in Computer Science.
Applicants must have a consistent and excellent academic record and/or demonstrable research skills by way of good-quality publications or research-oriented projects. Typically, the candidate is expected to satisfy one or more of the following:

How To Apply ?
All applications should be submitted through online portal. To submit the application, a candidate has to complete two registration forms: Pre-Registration Form and Main Registration FormIf you didn't get any mail from pgadmissions@iiit.ac.in after filling pre or main registration form click here

- After filling the Pre-Registration form, the candidate receives an E-Mail which contains the link and identification code. The link should be opened in a browser by supplying the identification code to fill in the Main Registration Form.
- Demand Draft in favor of "IIIT Hyderabad" payable at "Hyderabad" for an amount of INR 1500 should be drawn. A candidate must write application number (received in the confirmation mail) along with the name, email id and mobile number on the reverse side of the demand draft and send the same to the Chairman, PG Admissions, IIIT, Gachibowli, Hyderabad-500032, Andhra Pradesh.
Filling of Main Registration Form
- The main registration form can only be filled by opening the link received through the E-Mail, after filling in the preceding pre-registration form.
- You need to have details about your high-school (10th and 12th) marks, and the academic records for your graduate and post-graduate (if any) degrees, a passport size photograph of size 140x160 pixels or not more than 500 kb and latest Resume handy while filling this form. Also, the details of application fees Credit/Debit Card or Demand Draft (DD number, amount, date) should be entered while applying over portal
