C-DAC post of Project Officer –I in the InDG Project.

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is the premier R&D organization of the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of Communications & Information Technology (MCIT) for carrying out R&D in IT, Electronics and associated areas.

India Development Gateway (www.indg.in) is a nation-wide initiative implemented by C-DAC, Hyderabad.  InDG seeks to use the power of ICT to empower the poor and under-served through provision of information, products and services in select domains related to livelihoods. 

C-DAC seeks applications from suitable and interested candidates for the post of Project Officer –I  in the InDG Project.

Number of Positions:	02(Two)
Duration of the position:	2 years
Educational Qualification & Experience:	Two years full time MBA (Marketing) / Post Graduate in Social Work / Journalism / Mass Communication, Public Administration or equivalent relevant professional qualification and with at least 3 years post qualification work experience in the relevant field.
Job Description	Responsible for a few states / UT’s and work with the State Nodal Agencies in content generation and management through volunteerism /crowd sourcing, designing of e-magazines, organizing outreach & capacity building events, / state level workshops / mass media campaigns etc. Responsible for brand building of India Development Gateway initiative  Liaison with partners and develop business models and coordinate business activities related to project Provide support in organizing national events; participate in promotional events, development of promotional material etc.
Monthly Consolidated  Salary	Monthly consolidated salary Rs.31,000/- with no other allowances
Age:	Below 30 years as on 13-12-2013.

All the above posts are purely on contract basis for a period of 2 years

Screening Criteria: 
In case of more applications, apart from above mentioned criteria screening will be done based on relevant skill set, experience and aggregate marks secured in relevant qualifying degree. 

Age Relaxation:
Applicants belonging to the reserved category/Govt. employees / Physically Challenged Category would be eligible for relaxations according to the Government of India Norms.

Only Short-listed candidates will be called for interview. Candidates will be informed by email only and no separate communication will be sent. At the time of interview, they should bring Original Certificates of qualifications and experience and a photocopy of the same.  SC/ST/OBC candidates should submit necessary certificates of proof.

No TA /DA will be paid for appearing for the interview.

C-DAC reserves the right to fill up the post or increase/decrease the number of posts or even to cancel the whole process of recruitment without assigning any reasons thereof.
