Admission into SPONSORED CATEGORY SEATS of M.Tech and M.Pharmacy courses for the Year 2013-14
A. M. Tech Degree courses:
Five (5) sponsored seats are available in each of the specializations of M. Tech Degree courses offered in Sri
Venkateswara University College of Engineering, Tirupati during the academic year 2013-14.
Conditions for admission into M.Tech Degree Courses under sponsored category:
i) At least 50% aggregate marks in B.E/B.Tech in the concerned subject
ii) Candidates with Valid GATE score/PGECET-2013 will be given preference
iii) The candidate must be a permanent employee with a Government establishment or a public-sector
undertaking or a reputed private undertaking and it shall sponsor the candidate certifying that the
candidate would be granted leave for pursuing the M. Tech degree.
iv) The candidate shall have at least two years experience after obtaining the qualifying degree.
However, the candidates with less than two years of experience may be considered if the candidates
with two years of experience are not available.
Registration :
Candidates who wish to seek admission under sponsored category have to register in the office of the
Directorate of Admissions, S.V. University, Tirupati – 517 502 on are before 16-09-2013 at 5.00 pm
by submitting the GATE (with valid score card) / PGECET-2013 Rank card and copies of other
certificates along with a demand draft for Rs. 1000/- towards non-refundable registration fee drawn
in favour of the Director, Directorate of Admissions, S.V. University payable at Tirupati.

Counseling:
Counseling for admission will be held on 18-09-2013 at 9.00 am in the office of the Directorate of
Admissions. A non-refundable amount of Rs. 500/- is to be paid towards counseling fee by each candidate
who gets the admission. The priority given below is followed in admitting into M.Tech Degree Course.
i) Candidates with valid GATE score will be given first priority as per the score.
ii) Candidates qualified in PGECET-2013 will be given next priority as per the rank.
iii) Candidates currently working / practicing engineers with 2 years of experience will have next priority
iv) Other eligible candidates based on merit in B.E/ B.Tech.
Fee particulars :
i) The tuition fee and sponsor fee per annum are Rs 25,606/- and Rs 50,000/- respectively to be paid
every year.
ii) The first year tuition and sponsor fee along with the counseling fee shall be paid on the day of
counseling soon after the allotment of seat.
iii) The tuition and sponsor fee paid at the time of admission will not be refunded if the candidate wishes
to get the admission cancelled.
There is no reimbursement for any candidate including SC/ST/BC candidates admitted under Sponsored quota3
B. M. Pharmacy:
Fifteen (15) sponsored seats are available in each of the specializations of M. Pharmacy course namely
Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology offered in Sri Venkateswara University College of Sciences, Tirupati during
the academic year 2013-14.
Eligibility : B. Pharmacy with GATE-2013 or PGECET-2013 or GPAT-2013
Registration : Candidates wishing to get admission under sponsored category have to register in
the office of the Directorate of Admissions, S.V. University, Tirupati – 517 502
before 5 pm on
16-09-2013 by submitting the GATE / PGECET-2013/ GPAT-2013 score card and
copies of other certificates along with a demand draft for Rs. 1000/- towards
registration fee drawn in favour of the Director, Directorate of Admissions, S.V.
University payable at Tirupati.
Counseling : Counseling for admission will be held at 9 AM on 18-09-2013 at the Directorate
of Admissions. A non-refundable amount of Rs. 500/- is to be paid towards
counseling fee by each candidate who gets the admission.

ii) Candidates qualified in PGECET-2013 will be given next priority as per the
rank.
Fee particulars : Sponsor fee of Rs. 1,50,000/- (one time payment) in addition to the self financing
annual fee of Rs. 1,18,790/-and counseling fee of Rs. 500/- is to be paid at the time
of admission. However the tuition fee prescribed by the APSCHE for M.Pharmacy
courses for the year 2013-14 will hold good at the time of admission.
The tuition and sponsored fee paid at the time of admission will not be refunded if
the candidate wishes to get the admission cancelled.
