 Fellowship Details:
- Number of fellowships: 200 per year
- Applicants are provided with a fellowship of
- Rs.38,800 for 1st year
- Rs.40,300 for 2nd year
- Rs.41,900 for 3rd year
- Contingency grant of Rs. 50,000/- per annum for 3 years
- Escorts/ Reader assistance of Rs. 2000/- per month (fixed) in case of physically disabled candidates
Eligibility:
Applicants must have:
- a doctorate degree in the relevant subject.
- 55% marks at UG level and 60% of marks at PG level for General/open category.
- 50% at UG level and 55% at PG level for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/ PH).
Age Limit:
- Applicants must have age below 35 years (Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates).
