 Fellowship Details:
- Number of fellowships: 2000 (for SC) and 667 (for ST)
- Duration of the Fellowship: 5 Years (first 2 years as RGNJRF, can be extended for 3 years based on the performance of the fellow under the enhanced emoluments of the Rajiv Gandhi National Senior Research Fellowship (RGNSRF))
- Fellows are provided with a fellowship of:

Eligibility:
Fellow should:
- belong to SC/ST and have passed the Post Graduate examination in concerned subject and who desire to pursue research without JRF of UGC-NET or UGC-CSIR NET
- get registered for M.Phil./PhD at the first available opportunity but not later than within a period of two years from the receipt of award letter.
