Software Engineer (Platform software development on Unix/ Linux Systems) Qualification: 2+ years experience with a Graduate degree in CS/ EE OR Freshers having Post Graduate degree in CS/EE can also apply. Technical Requirements: Minimum 2 years development experience in platform/infrastructure software on unix platform Good working knowhow of linux systems. Exposure to design of highly available carrier grade systems (High Availability, Geographic redundancy). Exposure in Implementation of FCAPS features (Fault Management, Performance Management, Account Management, Performance Management, Security Management). Proficient in shell scripting. Working knowledge of python and puppet added advantage. Overview and working knowhow of vmWare. Working knowledge of TCP/IP stack and related protocol suite – TCP, IP, ICMP, ARP/RARP, DNS, DHCP, Routing/ Swiching basics, SNMP, HTTP. Should be a good team player and work with result/delivery orientation.
