Punjab Public Service Commission: Scientific Officer & Scientific Assistant

1. Scientific Officer (Ballistics): 01 Post Qualifications:i). M.Sc. degree in Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science or its equivalent and ii). An experience of research and analysis for a minimum period of two years in any of the subject mentioned in clause (a) in a Government department/ public sector undertaking or any other organisation. iii). Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard. 2. Scientific Officer (Biology): 01 Post Qualifications: i). M.Sc. degree in Botany or Zoology or Microbiology or Bio-Chemistry or Forensic Science or its equivalent and ii). An experience of research and analysis for a minimum period of two years in any of the subject mentioned in clause (a) in a Government department/ public sector undertaking or any other organisation. iii). Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard. 3. Scientific Officer (Physics): 01 Post Qualifications: i). M.Sc. degree in Physics or Forensic Science or its equivalent and ii). An experience of research and analysis for a minimum period of two years in any of the subject mentioned in clause (a) in a Government department/ public sector undertaking or any other organisation. iii). Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard. 4. Scientific Officer (Serology): 01 Post Qualifications: i). M.Sc. degree in Zoology or Botany or Microbiology or Bio-chemistry or Forensic Science and ii). An experience of research and analysis for a minimum period of two years in any of the subject mentioned in clause (a) in a Government department/ public sector undertaking or any other organisation. iii). Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard. 5. Scientific Officer (Toxicology): 01 Post Qualifications: i). M.Sc. degree in Chemistry or Bio-chemistry or Forensic Science or its equivalent; and ii). An experience of research and analysis for a minimum period of two years in any of the subject mentioned in clause (a) in a Government department/ public sector undertaking or any other organisation. iii). Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard. 6. Scientific Assistant (Ballistics): 01 Post Qualifications: i).M.Sc. degree in Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science or its equivalent. and Should have passed. ii). B.Sc. Examination from recognised university or institution with Physics or Mathematics as one of the subject. iii). Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent standard. 7. Scientific Assistant (Biology): 01 Post Qualifications: i). M.Sc. degree in Zoology or Botany or Micro Biology or Bio-Chemistry or Forensic Science or its equivalent and should have passed: ii). B.Sc. examination from recognised university or institution with Zoology and Botany as one of the subject. iii). Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent standard. 8. Scientific Assistant (Chemistry): 01 Post Qualifications: i). M.Sc. degree in Chemistry or Bio- Chemistry or Forensic Science or its equivalent and should have passed: ii). B.Sc. examination from recognised university or institution with Chemistry as one of the subject. iii). Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent standard. 9. Scientific Assistant (Documents): 01 Post Qualifications: i). M.Sc. degree in Physic or Chemistry or Forensic Science or its equivalent from a recognised university or institution and should have passed ii). B.Sc. Examination from recognised university or institution with Physics or Chemistry as one of the subject. iii). Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent standard. 10. Scientific Assistant (Photography): 01 Post Qualifications: i). M.Sc. degree in any subject from a recognised university or institution and should possesses B.Sc. degree with one of the subject as physics and should have passed ii). B.Sc. degree from recognised university or institution with Physics and two years diploma in Scientific Photography. iii). Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent standard. 11. Scientific Assistant (Serology): 01 Post Qualifications: i). M.Sc. degree in Zoology or Botany or Micro Biology or Bio-Chemistry or Forensic Science or its equivalent and should have passed. ii). B.Sc. examination from recognised university or institution with Zoology or Botany as one of the subject. iii). Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent standard. 12. Scientific Assistant (Toxicology): 01 Post Qualifications: i). M.Sc. degree in Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry or Forensic Science or its equivalent from a recognised university or institution and should have passed ii). B.Sc. Examination from recognised university or institution with Chemistry as one of the subject. iii). Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent standard. 13. Scientific Assistant (Teaching): 03 Posts Qualifications: i). M.Sc. degree in Physics or Chemistry or Botany or Zoology or Bio-Chemistry or Micro Biology or Forensic Science or its equivalent. ii). Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent standard. Application Fee: For SC/ ST of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab Rs. 1125/-, All Others Categories (including Lineal Descendent of Ex-servicemen, Punjab) 3000/-, Physically Handicapped, Punjab: Rs. 1750/- & Ex-Servicemen of Punjab: No Fee to be paid.
