BITSAT-2014 Notification released. The application deadline is 15 February 2014 and the Computer Based Online Tests scheduled from May 14 to June 1, 2014. The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani is inviting applications for admissions to all the Integrated First Degree programmes of BITS, Pilani, at Pilani campus, Goa campus, and Hyderabad Campus for the academic year 2014-15. The Integrated First Degree Programmes to which admissions will be made on the basis of BITSAT-2014 are as follows: (i) At BITS, Pilani – Pilani Campus: BE (Hons.): Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechanical, Manufacturing. B.Pharma.(Hons.) M.Sc.(Hons.): Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics and Physics. M.Sc. (Tech.): General Studies. (ii) At BITS, Pilani – Goa Campus: BE (Hons.): Chemical, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechanical. M.Sc. (Hons.): Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics and Physics. (iii) At BITS, Pilani – Hyderabad Campus: BE (Hons.): Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechanical, Manufacturing. B.Pharma. (Hons.); M.Sc. (Hons.): Biological Sciences, Chemistry; Economics, Mathematics, Physics Eligibility Criteria The candidate should have the following eligibility criteria: For admission to any of the First Degree programmes of BITS except B.Pharma. (Hons.): Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English. For admission to B.Pharma. (Hons.): Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and adequate proficiency in English. However, candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program. Candidates who will be appearing for their Class XII or equivalent in 2014 are also eligible to apply for BITSAT 2014. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 75% in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% in each subject separately. Candidates must be proficient in English. Note: Candidates who have passed their 10+2 in 2012 or before are not eligible to apply for the BITSAT 2014. BITSAT 2014 Paper Pattern: BITSAT 2014 is a Computer Based Online Test with duration of three hours with 150 multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer will get three marks each and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. BITSAT-2014 Test Format: BITSAT-2014 will be of total 3-hour duration without break.
