The Economist Group invites applications for Research Analyst - Economics.
Qualification: A post-graduate degree in Economics/ Business Economics or Business Management will be preferred.
Experience, skills:
1. A good understanding of macroeconomic, demographic and international trade concepts and knowledge of key data series.
2. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel- experience with formula auditing, manipulating and cleaning large data sets in excel, knowledge of advanced functions like VLookup/ HLookup, Match, Offset, Index, Indirect, Nested If-Then-Else and similar (desirable).
3. Knowledge of Econometrics (desirable).
4. Experience in writing political, economic and industry analysis.
5. Strong command of written English.
Experience: 0 - 2 years
