Title: Engineer I, Product & Systems Engineering
Purpose: Responsible for those functions, activities, and skills required to architect, specify and qualify new products from a high level, or end point product, perspective. The focus could be mechanical, electrical, software, etc., depending on the type of end product.
Scope:
1. Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.
2. Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
3. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.
4. Moderate decision making authority guided by policies, procedures, and business operations protocol.
