Number of Seats: 36 regular seats and 4 seats outside state quota
M.Sc.(Hort.) - with specialization in Fruit Science (7), Vegetable Science (9), Floriculture and Landscape Architecture (6) and Spices, Plantations, Medicinal and Aromatic Crops (4), Post Harvest Technology (4), Horticultural Pathology (3), Horticultural Entomology (3) seats with a total of 36 regular seats and 4 extra seats to outside state students in above specializations.
Ph.D. (Hort.) – with specialization in Fruit Science (2), Vegetable Science (2), Floriculture and Landscape Architecture (1) and Plantation, Spices, Medicinal and Aromatic Crops (1) seats with a total of 6 regular seats. One (1) extra seat is alloted to University toppers in M.Sc.(Hort.) Programme (Inspire fellow) from outside state universities over and above regular seats.
Qualifications: Candidates seeking admission into Master’s Degree course in Horticulture must have passed the relevant Bachelor’s Degree i.e, B.Sc. (Hons.) Hortilculture with a OGPA of 5.5/ 10 and for Ph.D a minimum of 6.50/10.00 OGPA in M.Sc.(Horticulture) from ICAR Accreditated University.
Age: The upper age limit is 40 years as on 1st July, 2016.
