Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan.admissions (CCMT) 2016 (Last date: 12.05.2016)

Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan.admissions (CCMT) 2016 is an on-line admission process for all National Institutes of Technologies (NITs) and several other Centrally funded institutes viz. IIITM Gwalior, PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur, SLIET Longowal, NIFFT Ranchi, SPA Vijayawada, IIIT Allahabad, Central University of Rajasthan, Institute of Technology, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, and IIEST Shibpur.
Eligibility:
1. Must have a valid GATE Score in the year 2015 or 2016.
2. In qualifying degree the candidates should have passed and secured atleast 6.5 CGPA (on a 10- point scale) or 60% for OC/OB, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ ST/ PwD candidates. The above mentioned CGPA/Percentage should be awarded by a recognized University/ Institute.
3. In case, result of qualifying degree is awaited, provisional admission is permitted to a student subject to meeting above minimum qualifying degree requirements latest by September 15, 2016. In these cases, all exams should have been completed by July 15, 2016 with NO backlog papers. A certificate to that effect and Mark sheet/ Grade card till pre-final semester should be submitted at the Reporting Centre during document verification.
Admission Process:
The admission process broadly involves the following five stages:
1. Online registration, choice filling and locking of choices
2. Online seat allotment
3. Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee
4. Reporting at RC after paying the Seat Acceptance Fee
5. Payment of Seat Confirmation Fee, Institute’s Balance Fee and Joining the allotted Institute
6. Report at the allotted Institute and pay the Institute balance fee as per the allotted Institute fee.
Start date of online choice filling: 11.04.2016.
Last date of online registration and fee payment: 12.05.2016.
