Eligibility:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Design/ Architecture/ Medical Sciences in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks.
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Medical Sciences or equivalent in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 7.5 or 70% of marks.
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 7.0, from any of the Centrally Funded Technical Institutions.
- Master’s degree in Science in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% marks.
- Master’s degree in Social Sciences, in a relevant area, with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% marks, is also considered for admission to the Centre for the Environment.

- The Institute reserves the right to call a limited number of candidates for written test and/ or interview/ portfolio review, if required, based on performance in GATE/ NET/ CEED/ INSPIRE, grades/ marks in the qualifying examination, etc.
