Candidates who have passed Master’s Degree through Open University system are not eligible. For SC/ ST and differently abled candidates, there will be a relaxation of 5% marks for the minimum eligibility for admission. Teachers of Annamalai University who have put in two years of service are eligible to register for M.Phil. (Part-time) degree as per eligibility norms. The selection of candidates for admission to the M.Phil. Degree Programmes shall be based on both a written test and an interview. The written test shall comprise objective type questions for 75 marks and examine research aptitude, grasp of the subject, intellectual ability, and general knowledge of the prospective candidates. The interview will be conducted for 25 marks.
