JBNSTS Senior Scholarship Test, 2015

Scholarship Details: Duration of the Scholarship is till the end of BE/MBBS/M. Sc. Degrees. Scholarship amount of Rs. 1,000/- per month and an annual book grant of Rs. 1,000/- Students get exposure to seminars, colloquia, educational tours, scientific research projects. Under DST, JBNSTS Scholars of Basic Sciences are directly considered for the Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) under the “INSPIRE” Program . The Scholarship of Rs. 60,000/- per annum and a research grant of Rs. 20,000/- per annum shall be given till the completion of Master's Degree. Eligibility: Students who have passed 10 + 2 examination in 2015 and are currently studying in Basic Sciences (Hons.)/Medicine/ Engineering in registered colleges/institutes/universities in West Bengal are eligible. Pass course and diploma course students are not eligible. Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on their performance in Written Test, Interview and Scientific Creativity Test. Written Test consists of questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Scientific Creativity Test is for selected candidates based on Interview.
