Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE): Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)

Jobs Images Eligibility:Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage): Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.). OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year BA/ B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed. OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Fee:
  • For General/ OBC Category: Rs.600/- for Paper – I or II and Rs.1000/- for Paper – I & II.
  • For SC/ ST/ Differently Abled Person Category: Rs.300/- for Paper – I or II and Rs.500/- for Paper – I & II.

How to Apply: Candidates can apply online only.

  • Opening date of online registration July 30, 2015
  • Closing date of online registration Aug 19, 2015
  • Last date for payment of fees through E-challan or Debit/Credit Card by the candidate Aug 20, 2015
  • Period for Online Corrections in Particulars Aug 21, 2015 to Aug 25, 2015
  • Download Admit Card from Board’s website: Sept 04, 2015
  • Date of Examination Sept 20, 2015 (Paper-II: 09:30 to 12:00 hrs and Paper-I: 14:00 to 16:30 hrs)
  • Declaration of Results on or before: Oct 30, 2015
  • Dispatch of CTET Marks Statement/Certificates Nov 26, 2015
