Scholarship Details: For Charpak Exchange Program: This is designed for exchange students for a period of one to four months at the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level. Student visa fee waiver Monthly stipend of 615 euros up to 4 months Medical insurance coverage(around 300 euros/year) Affordable student housing guaranteed, to be paid from the stipend For Charpak Master's program: This is designed for one to two years of studies in France at the Master’s degree level. Student visa fee waiver (approx. 16500 INR) Monthly stipend of 615€ up to 10 months Medical insurance coverage(around 300 euros/year) Affordable student housing guaranteed Laptop allowance of 700€ Tuition fees of up to 6100€ For Research Internship Program: This is designed for all students of economics, engineering and science background at the Bachelor’s or Master’s levels planning to pursue training in a French laboratory during their academic break (May to July). Student visa fee waiver Monthly stipend of 310 euros for maximum of 3 months (May to July) Medical insurance coverage Affordable student housing guaranteed Eligibility: Applicant must: For Charpak Exchange Program: be an Indian national and reside in India age should be not more than be 30 years at the time of application be currently enrolled at an Indian institution of higher learning that has a tie-up with French Institution where the applicant will pursue an exchange semester.(mandatory) For Charpak Master's program: be an Indian national and reside in India. be currently enrolled at an Indian Institution of higher learning or a young professional employed in a company for a maximum of 3 years at the time of application be 30 years old For Research Internship Program: be an Indian national and reside in India age should not be more than 30 years at the time of application be currently enrolled at an Indian institution of higher learning. Last year students may also apply Selection Criteria: For all the three programs: Selected on the basis of academic excellence, consistency and quality of statement of purpose. There is no CGPA / percentage cut-off for the scholarship. Knowledge of French will be an asset but is not mandatory.
