Scholarship details:
- The first two scholarships are awarded to students working in any field related to Welsh language and literature
- The third scholarship is restricted to those researching into 19th century Welsh literature, the literary or religious history of Welsh-speaking Gwent, or the work of the poet, Islwyn.
- The amount of each scholarship worth up to £3000.
- Total no.of scholarships: 3
Eligibility:
- This scholarship is open to students of all nationalities.
- Graduates in Welsh or other Humanities and Social Science subjects who have been accepted onto courses in the School of Welsh.
- Applicants for a scholarship will have already been accepted for postgraduate study in the School of Welsh.
How to Apply:
- An application form should be submitted in Welsh or English.
- Master's applicants should outline the proposed area of study and their plans for the dissertation.
- Research applicants should give the proposed title for their thesis and an explanation of the scope and significance of the proposed research.
