Scientific/ Technical Officer (Seed Production for AVRDC) Qualifications & Experience: Masters degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture with specialization in plant breeding with at least two years of practical experience in seed production; Excellent knowledge of principles of seed production of both self-pollinated and cross-pollinated crop species; Keen analytical skills and ability to conduct, monitor and evaluate experimental trials; Familiarity with horticultural production practices in Andhra Pradesh; Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Hindi and Telugu; Proficiency in the use of various software applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access) and adequate knowledge and practical experience in handling variety evaluation trials; Ability to develop, manage and deliver products within agreed timeframes.
