1. Scientific Assistant (Non-Gazetted): 1 PostQualification : Candidate should be Degree holder in Science with Chemistry as one of the subject. Preferably Honours in Chemistry. 2. Research Assistant (Non-Gazetted): 2 Posts Qualification : Candidate should be Degree holder in Science either Physics or Chemistry as one of the subject 3. Junior Engineer Grade - I (Mechanical): 1 post Qualification : Candidate must have passed 3 years Diploma course in Mechanical Engineering /Automobiles Engineering or Licentiate in Mechanical 3 years from any recognised Institution. 4. Surveyor Grade – II: 1 post Qualification : (i) Passed 2nd year of the three years Diploma Course in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institution. OR (ii) Section Assistant having 6 (six) years of experience in that capacity. OR (iii) 2 (two) years Certificate Course in Surveying from I.T.I or any recognised Institution. 5. Photographer in the Directorate of Information and Public Relations Department: 1 post Qualification: Matriculate or equivalent. Experience in various branches of Photography. New Photography, Caption Writing and with good experience in Dark Room works viz. Developing, Retouching, Enlarging, Printing, Copying etc. 6. District Sports Officer : 2 posts Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in any stream including BPE/BPEd from any recognised Indian University/Institutes or Graduate with Diploma in Coaching from NSNIS Patiala, or its subsidiary regional Institutes. 7. Junior Engineer : 7 post Qualification: (i) Diploma holder in Civil Engineer from a recognised Institution OR (ii) Trained Section Assistant having 12 (twelve) years of continuous service in the capacity OR (iii) Grade-II Overseer/Surveyors with 10 (ten) years continuous service in that capacity. 8. Assistant Engineer : 03 posts Qualification: B.E (civil) from a recognised University or equivalent. 9. Health Education Instructor : 1 post Qualification: Master Degree in Social Science, viz Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Political Science, Geography, History, Economics, Possession of Post Graduate Certificate or Diploma in Health Education or any training in the subject will be preferred. 10. Motor Vehicle Inspector : 07 Posts Qualification: Must be a Matriculate with a 3 (three) years Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering from any recognised Institute and must hold a valid driving license to drive Motor Cycles as well as light and heavy goods and passengers vehicles. 11. Enforcement Inspector : 07 posts Qualification: Must be a Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce from a recognised University 12. Assistant Engineer (Civil): 12 posts Qualification: B.E in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognised University/Institution 13. Assistant Teacher (English) : 1 post Qualification: Candidates must be Graduate with Honours in English from any recognised University in India and having B.Ed. Preference will be given to Post Graduate candidate in the subject and having B.Ed. 14. Typists (Ordinary Grade) in the Offices of Heads of Department : 14 posts Qualification: For offline candidates: “Application should be in Standard Form and not in the Commission’s prescribed form AF-I” For online candidates: “Applicant can apply in the Commission’s prescribed online format” 15. Physiotherapist : 4 posts Qualification: Twelve (Science) + Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy from any recognised Institute. Additional Qualification: Knowledge of any of these languages (Khasi, Jaintia and Garo) is desirable. 16. Food Safety Officer : 4 posts Qualification: Degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or Masters Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a recognised University. 17. Translator : 1 post Qualification: Graduate in any stream with good knowledge of Garo and English language. 18. Geo - Information System Technician in the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer: 1 post Qualification: Computer Science Engineering Diploma (3 years full fledged course) with Class XII (Science) OR any equivalent course - passed from a recognised Institution. 19. Junior Divisional Accountant : 14 posts Qualification: Graduate in any stream from any recognised University 20. Surveyor : 01 post Qualification: Candidates must be Graduate in any stream from any recognised University with either Statistic or Economics as one of the subject. 21. Tourist Officer : 06 posts Qualification: Graduate from any recognised University, preference will be given to candidates having Diploma in Tourism of Tourism related subjects as well as those having minimum 2 years experience in the field of activity in a recognised establishment. 22. Nutritionist under Social Welfare Department : 3 posts Experience: i. Two years experience of organising Training Programmes /Supervision and Monitoring in the field of Social Welfare / Child Development. ii. With knowledge of Computer Application. iii. Knowledge to write or speak Khasi, Jaintia or Garo language. 23. Health Instructor under Social Welfare Department 01 post Experience: i) Two years experience of organizing Training Programmes / Supervision and Monitoring in the field of Social Welfare / Child Development / Public Health ii) With knowledge of Computer Application iii) Knowledge to write or speak Khasi, Jaintia or Garo language. 24. Assistant Urban Planner : 02 posts Qualification: B.Arch / B.Tech (Civil) with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Urban & Regional Planning / City / Town Planning or equivalent qualification desirable. Associate membership of the Institute of Town Planner (India) 25. Assistant Research Officer in Finance (Economic Affairs) Department : 05 posts Qualification: Master’s Degree in Economics / Statistics / Commerce / Mathematics or Honours Degree in Economics / Statistics / Commerce / Mathematics with 5 (five) years experience in Government Accounting / Banking / Statistical works 26. Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Officers : 05 posts Qualification: Degree in Veterinary Science from any recognised University. He/She must possess recognised qualification included in the first or second Schedule to the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 and registered with the State Veterinary Council/Veterinary Council of India as laid down in Schedule II (a) 27. Statistical Assistant : 01 post Qualification: Graduate with Statistics/Economics/Mathematics/Commerce as one of the subject. Desirable : Experience in Statistical works 28. Lecturer : 01 post Qualification: At least 2nd class Bachelor Degree in Costume Design & Garment Technology / Fashion technology course from recognised College / University / IIT or other recognised Technical Institute offering Degree course in Costume Design & Garment Technology. Preference will be given to the candidate (s) having experience in teaching. 29. Research Assistant under Directorate of Health Services (MI), Meghalaya, Shillong : 01 post Qualification: Graduate in any stream with Mathematics, Statistics or Economics as one of the subject. Experience: Preferably those who have got experience in Statistical works. Knowledge of computers is desirable 30. Dieticians : 04 posts Qualification: MSC in Food Service Management and Dietetics or BSC with Honours in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. Preference will be given for MSC in Food Service Management and Dietetics being the higher qualification. 31. Assistant Teacher : 01 post Qualification: Graduates with Honours in Home Science from any recognised University in India and having B.Ed. Preference will be given to Post Graduate candidates in the subject with teaching experience preferably the ICSE System. 32. Social Work Teacher under Social Welfare Department : 01 posts Experience: i) Two years experience of organizing Training Programmes / Supervision and Monitoring in the field of Social Welfare / Child Development. ii) With knowledge of Computer Application iii) Knowledge to write or speak Khasi, Jaintia or Garo language. 33. Junior Grade Meghalaya Finance Service (Finance & Accounts Officer / Treasury Officer) Departmental Promotion under Finance Department : 08 posts Qualification: 1) Graduate from a recognised University. 2) Minimum 5 (five) years of service in the cadre of Accounts Officer of the Meghalaya Accounts Services or Audit Officer of the Meghalaya Audit Services 34. Junior Grade Meghalaya Finance Service : 08 posts Qualification: 1) Graduate in Commerce, Science or Arts. 2) With either Commerce or Economics or Mathematics as one of the subjects in their graduation from a recognised University. 35. Pool Officer (Non-Gazetted) under the Commissioner of Transport : 01 post Qualification: (i) P.U.C with a diploma in Automobile Engineering (3 years course) from a recognised institution or with Mechanical Engineering awarded by State Board of Technical Education (3 years course). (ii) Working experience of at least 1 year in a reputed automobile workshop which undertakes repairs of light, medium and heavy motor vehicles fitted with petrol and diesel engines. (iii) Must hold valid driving licence to drive motor cycle, light, medium and heavy motor vehicles including public services vehicles for at least one year.
