National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS) conducts a walk-in-interview for the selection of project personnel of “Marine and Coastal Information System” (MACIS) implemented by NCESS, for the academic year 2014 -15. Scholarship Details Project Code: MACIS (Project Period: One year) Name of the Post: Senior Research Fellow (2 vacancies) Remuneration: Rs.16,000/-pm + HRA @20% Age limit: 35 years as on 01.01.2014; relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates. Nature of work: Field mapping, data collection along different coastal states of the country and processing of data on GIS platform. Eligibility Criteria: First class MCA/M.Sc. in Geomatics /Geo informatics/ Computer Science with 2 years experience in Coastal Regulation Zone mapping and use of GIS Software for coastal studies.
