National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS) conducts a walk-in-interview for the selection of Junior Research Fellow for the project of “Marine and Coastal Information System” (MACIS) implemented by NCESS, for the academic year 2014 -15. Scholarship Details Remuneration: Rs.14,000/-pm + HRA @20% Age limit: 30 years as on 01.01.2014; relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates. Nature of work: Field mapping and data collection along different coastal states of the country and processing of data on GIS platform. Eligibility Criteria First class M.Sc. in Oceanography/Marine Geology/ Geology/Geomatics/Geoinformatics/Geography/Computer Science with 1 year experience in Coastal field mapping and use of GIS Software for coastal studies or 1 year experience in developing software for Coastal Information Systems.
