International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI) invites applications from candidates for its Senior Junior Fellowships Fellowship Details Specialization: Mechanical/Metallurgical/Ceramics/Chemical Engineering OR Nanoscience/ Nano-technology OR Materials Science/Polymer Chemistry/Electro-Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry/Engineering Physics/ Chemistry Monthly Stipend: Rs. 25,000/- p.m. for Senior ARCI Fellowship. Rs. 22,000/- p.m. for Junior ARCI Fellowship (JAF) to candidates with NET/ GATE qualification. Rs. 20,000/- p.m. for Junior ARCI Fellowship (JAF) to candidates without NET/GATE qualification. Duration of the Fellowship Period: Initially, the selected fellows shall be engaged for a period of one year. However, subject to satisfactory performance, the fellowship award shall be renewable annually up to a maximum period of 3 years. In case of candidates who register for Ph.D., the fellowship award may be extended up to 5 years from the actual date of registration to the Ph.D. programme. Eligibility Criteria Engineering/Science students who have completed their ME/M.Tech./MS or BE/B.Tech. /M.Sc. or equivalent during the past three years (not earlier than 2012) and possessing subsequent continuous research experience from the date of qualifying. Engineering/Science students who are presently in their final year/semester and expected to complete their degrees by June/July 2014. NET/GATE qualified candidates shall have an added advantage.
