Assistant Divisional Medical Officer: 650 Posts Assistant Medical Officer: Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services: 150 Posts General Duty Medical Officer Gr.-II: 53 Posts General Duty Medical Officer: 22 PostsQualification: For admission to the examination a candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final MBBS examination. Age Limit (As on 01/01/2014): 32 years Fee: Rs. 200/- either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. Female/ SC/ ST/ PH candidates are exempted from payment of fee. Scheme of Examination: The examination shall be conducted according to the following plan:- Part-I: Written Examination - (500 marks): The candidates will take the written examination in two Papers, each Paper carrying a maximum of 250 marks. Each Paper will be of two hours duration. Papers-I: Subject: General Ability & No. of Questions: 30 Subject: General Medicine & No. of Questions: 70 Subject: Pediatrics & No. of Questions: 20 Maximum Marks: 250 Papers-II: Subject: Surgery & No. of Questions: 40 Subject: Gynaecology & Obstetrics & No. of Questions: 40 Subject: Preventive & Social Medicine & No. of Questions: 40 Maximum Marks: 250 Part-II: Personality Test: (100 Marks): Personality test carrying 100 marks of such of the candidates who qualify on the results of the written examination. Penalty for Wrong Answers: Candidates should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective type question papers.
