Group-I: Arts1) Assistant Professor (Education): 03 Posts Qualifications: i). Masters Degree in Arts/ Humanities/ Sciences/ Commerce and M.Ed. each with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). Or MA (Education) and B.Ed. / B.Ed.(Spl.) each with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). ii). PhD in Education or NET/ SLET/ SET in Education. 2) Assistant Professor (English): 03 Posts Qualifications: i). Masters Degree in English with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). ii). PhD in Faculty of English literature/ Language or NET/ SLET/ SET in English. Group-II: Science 1) Assistant Professor (Computer Science): 04 Posts Qualifications: i). BE/ B.Tech. and ME/ M.Tech. in Computer Science with first class or equivalent either in BE/ B.Tech. or ME/ M.Tech. OR BE/ B.Tech. and MCA with first class or equivalent in either BE/ B.Tech. or MCA OR MCA with first class or equivalent with two years relevant experience. ii). PhD in the Faculty of Computer Science or NET/ SLET/ SET in Computer Science preferred. 2) Assistant Professor (Organic Chemistry): 05 Posts Qualifications: i). M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. ii). besides fulfilling the above qualification, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/ SET. Note: one of the posts will be filled up with those who possess a Masters degree in Inorganic Chemistry and another will be filled up with those who possess a Masters degree in Physical Chemistry.
