Tagore National Fellowship for Cultural Research

Ministry of Culture, Government of India is inviting applications for the award of scholarship under the Scheme of Tagore National Fellowship for cultural Research. Scholarship Details Under the scheme of Tagore National Fellowship for Cultural Research, there are two categories of awards. The first category under ‘Tagore National Fellows’, there are 15 awards available with an honorarium of Rs. 80,000 per month. The second category awards under ‘Tagore Research Scholars’ are 25 in number available with honorarium of Rs. 50,000 per month. Eligibility Criteria The scholarship is open to both Indian nationals and foreign citizens. Scholars who have sound academic or professional credentials and have made significant contribution to knowledge in their respective fields, as reflected in publications in reputed and referred journals and books authored by them, or persons with significant creative work in any field of art or culture, are eligible to apply.
