Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd (TCIL): Call Center Executive & District Coordinator

Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd. (TCIL) is an ISO 9001:2008 certified fast growing

Technology, Govt. of India. TCIL is operating globally to provide world-class technology and
Indian expertise in all fields of Telecom, IT.

TCIL requires qualified and experienced Candidates for the following posts on contract basis:

1. Call Center Executive :

No. of Posts : 03
Educational Qualification : Full time Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a
recognized Institute/ University.
Professional Qualification : One year Diploma in Computer or any other equivalent
qualification in Computer Science/ Computer from a
recognized institute.
Age limit : Maximum 35 years as on 01.10.2013

Minimum Experience : 1 year (Call Centre / H/W engineering / customer support preferred)

Desirable:
- Candidate having OS-CIT (Orissa State – Certificate in Information Technology)
certificate will be preferred. If candidate is not OS-CIT certified, then he/she should
complete OS-CIT certification within 1 year of appointment.


Consolidated Emoluments : Rs. 7,000/- to 15, 000/- p.m. depending upon the experience of
the candidates. (Consolidated amount including Employee &
Employer share for PF and ESI)
Job profile:

The Primary responsibilities of the call center executive shall be providing telephonic support to
the all stakeholders related to the project.

2. District Coordinator:

No. of Posts : 11
Educational Qualification : Full time Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a
recognized Institute/ University.
Professional Qualification : One year Diploma in Computer or any other equivalent
qualification in Computer Science/ Computer from a
recognized institute.
Age limit : Maximum 35 years as on 01.10.2013

Desirable:

2. Candidate having Diploma in Hardware engineering will be preferred.

Job profile:

District coordinator (DC) is responsible for monitoring and managing the ICT labs in the
schools. Following will be the role and responsibilities of the District Coordinator :

Roles & Responsibilities:

 To review School Coordinators (SCs) on their performance.
 To provide technical support to SC.
 To verify maintenance of registers.
 To verify equipment uptime.
 To collect and verify all reports.
 To coordinate maintenance work by vendors.
 To send periodic reports to regional office.
 To collect sign-off from SCs for the District.
 To review school performance in consultation with Head Master (HM).
 To participate in discussions with HM about education delivery.
 To conduct education delivery reviews.
 To find a replacement SC within 7 days of a SC’s resignation.
 To recruit SC by conducting tech/non-tech tests and interviews.
 To conduct Induction or any other training program for SC.
 Other district level Project Management.
 Coordinate with the Helpdesk on daily basis for any hardware or software related
problems in the schools in district to ensure that it’s solved within the stipulated
timeframes and for effective monitoring as per requirement.

In case of any complaint regarding the services, the School Coordinator will inform the
District Coordinator of the concerned District. The District Coordinator will forward the
complaints to the helpdesk and the concerned Zonal level engineer /Zonal Project Manager to
resolve the problem within the given time frame.

Contract Period for both the above posts : Initially for One Year (Can be extended further on
the basis of Performance)

Language Preference for both the above posts: Good knowledge of Odia & English Language

Local Candidate Preference for both the above posts : Local Candidate shall be Preferred.

Necessary Instructions : -

2. Age relaxation in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India guidelines.

3. Experience in the relevant field shall be calculated from the date of attaining the minimum
essential qualification(s) upto the last date of receipt of applications.

4. The recruitment process may be cancelled at any stage with or without assigning any reason
thereof.

5. Name of the post applied for should invariably be mentioned on the top of the envelope
containing the application form.

6. Incomplete/unsigned applications and applications received after the last date of receipt of
applications will not be entertained and the application form in the prescribed format without
the duly attested copies of all relevant certificates (Educational, Professional, Date of Birth &
Experience) will liable to be rejected.
