Applications are invited for preparation of District-wise panels with eligible female
candidates to the posts of Contract Resident Teachers and PETs for filling up existing and
future vacancies in the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas, which are Residential
Schools for girls in classes 6 – 10 from eligible female candidates who hold the requisite
qualifications and are residing in the same mandal HQ where the vacancies exist.
Applications should be submitted in the District Project Offices, Rajiv Vidya
Mission (SSA) of the concerned districts only.

1. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
(i) Applications to work as Contract Resident Teachers should be submitted in the
respective District Project Offices, Rajiv Vidya Mission (SSA) where the candidate is
located.
(ii) Only Female Candidates need apply.
(iii) The candidate should be a resident of the District where the selection is sought.
(iv) Rule of reservation based on community will be strictly followed.
(v) The services of candidates will be terminated in case of low performance / indulging in
any unacceptable activities / misbehavior / misappropriation of funds etc.
(vi) The mode of employment shall be on Contract for a period of 11 months or last day of
the academic year, whichever is earlier, from the date of appointment. Performance
review will be conducted at the end of the contract period and based on this the contract
may be extended.
(vii) The candidate should be willing to do Night Duty in the KGBV as per the roster drawn
up in the KGBV.
(viii) No canvassing is allowed. Any person indulging in such canvassing is liable for
rejection of her candidature.

(b) Age: Candidate should have completed 18 years of age and not have completed 39
years of ages as on 01.06.2013. In case of SC, ST, BC candidates, the maximum age limit
shall be 44 years and in respect of Physically Challenged candidates the maximum age limit
shall be 49.
3. REMUNERATION PER MONTH – Rs. 9000/-:
4. SELECTION PROCEDURE:
a) Candidates shall be selected based on written test.
b) Candidates who clear the written test will also be interviewed to observe teaching
skills.
The schedule for written examination will be intimated with the Admit Card for the
Test.
e) The selection of CRTs and PETs shall be made by the committee headed by the
District Collector, with the Project Officer, RVM (SSA) as Member Convener. The
committee constituted for Interviews/Selection of CRTs and PETs shall be as follows:

One Senior Special Officer of KGBV - Member
Project Officer, RVM (SSA) - Member Convener
The decision of the Selection Committee is final.
OTHER INSTRUCTIONS:
a) The applications along with the copies of documents as prescribed must be submitted to
the District Project Office of RVM (SSA) on/before 17.06.2013 using the prescribed
proforma which may be downloaded from the website http://rvm.ap.nic.in.
b) Candidates should present the following certificates in original for verification when
called for.

Age: Proof of age as recorded in SSC Certificate or equivalent.

Degree Certificates for Graduation and B.Ed.

Permanent Community Certificate/Original Caste Certificate.

candidates to the posts of Sectoral and Asst. Sectoral Officers in the District Project
Offices of Rajiv Vidya Mission (SSA) from Gazetted and Non-Gazetted Officers working
in various departments & Persons working with reputed NGOs.
Applications should be submitted in the District Project Offices, Rajiv Vidya
Mission (SSA) of the concerned districts only.

The eligibility criteria for Sectoral and Asst. Sectoral Officers is as
follows:
1. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
(i) Applications for the post of Sectoral Officers should be submitted in the
respective District Project Offices, Rajiv Vidya Mission (SSA) where the
candidate is working. If application is submitted in other districts shall be
rejected.
(ii) In-service candidates should invariably apply through proper channel.
Applications submitted directly without proper channel will be summarily
rejected.
(iii) Candidates can apply for more than one post in one application only.
(iv) Age of the candidates shall be 50 years below as on 01.05.2013
(v) The candidates shall have rendered atleast 10 years of service in
Government sector to the said above date
(vi) The selected candidates shall work for a minimum period of 2 years in the
project. In this regard they should have give undertaking. The candidate
shall report to duty within 15 days from the date of receipt of deputation
order. Otherwise, they will forego their candidature to join in the project
and action will be initiated against such candidates as per CCA Rules.
(vii) The services of candidates will be terminated in case of low performance /
indulging in any unacceptable activities / misbehavior / misappropriation of
funds etc.
(viii) Rule of reservation be followed.

1. Separate merit lists will be prepared for Sectoral Officers and Asst.
Sectoral Officers.
2. The candidates from NGOs should enclose experience certificate as

6. SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Written test for 85 marks and interview for 15 marks will be conducted.
The questions in written test will be both objective and descriptive.
The duration of the examination will be 2 ½ hours.
Centre of examination, date and time will be intimated in the Hall Ticket.
A skill test will be conducted for 50 marks to the candidates who apply for the
post of Assistant Programme Officer and Assistant Statistical Officer in
addition to written test and interview.
