Study Scholarships, 2016 @ Swedish Institute, Sweden

Scholarships Scholarship Details:
  • Number of scholarships: 300.
  • Duration of the scholarship: 1 or 2 years. The scholarship is granted for one academic year (two semesters) at a time. It will be extended for programmes longer than two semesters, provided that the student has passed his/her courses/credits.
  • The scholarship covers both tuition fees (paid directly to the Swedish university/university college by the Swedish Institute) and living expenses to the amount of SEK 9,000 per month.
  • Scholarship also covers travel grants of onetime payment of SEK 15,000.

Eligibility:
  • Scholarship is available to the candidates who been admitted to one of the eligible master programs in Sweden.
  • Candidate should have at least two years’ work experience.
  • Candidate must display outstanding academic qualifications and leadership experience.

Juris Doctor Scholarships, 2016 @ University of Newcastle, Australia

ScholarshipsContest Details:
Image Entry criteria:
  • Un-published work entered into the competition must have been taken between the dates of January 1st and December 31st 2015.
  • Published work may have been taken at any point in history, but must have been commissioned or acquired or first published between the dates of January 1st and December 31st 2015. Eligible publications include magazines, newspapers, on-line and print editorial, self-publishing websites, including personal sites as well as commissioned gallery exhibitions.
  • Images should be no smaller than 800KB and no larger than 5MB. Images should be either JPEG or TIFF files.
  • All images must be saved in the RGB colour model and EXIF data must be left in the image file.
  • All entrants must be able to supply a high resolution image suitable for printing in exhibitions. Categories
  • The professional 14 categories are divided into two distinct groups: Documentary and Art.
  • Documentary photography is representational with the aim of conveying information, in contrast to Art photography, which is usually subjective to the artist.
  • Art photography refers to a wide range of photography, which goes beyond the act of recording realistic renditions of the subject and aims to produce a more personal interpretation by the artist/photographer.

Maths Talent Search Examination (MTSE), 2016

Scholarships Exam Details:
  • The paper consists of 35 multiple choice questions.
  • These questions are to be answered in 60 minutes. The correct answer is awarded with 2 marks, whereas the wrong one carries a penalty of 0.5 marks, except for Class III and IV.
  • Students scoring above 30 marks or the Benchmark score, whichever is higher, are declared as successful. (The Benchmark score is the average score of all the students for that class.)

International Photography Contest on Kerala

Scholarships Contest Details:
  • The photographs should be on Kerala and portray Kerala in a positive manner.
  • A maximum of three images will be accepted from each participant.

MBA Global Diversity Scholarship, 2016 @ Willamette University, USA

Adminissions Scholarship Details:
  • A maximum of two Global Diversity Scholarship awards are available for each targeted country.
  • A student who receives a Global Diversity Scholarship will receive a total scholarship award ranging from $21,000 to full-tuition for the Willamette Early Career/Career Change MBA program.
  • The total award will include the $5,000 Global Diversity Scholarship and an Atkinson School Scholarship of $16,000 or more, based on their application credentials.

Eligibility:
  • Applicants with a bachelor degree who have excellent admission credentials (a strong record of academic success, excellent references and essays, and outstanding professional performance in the application process and the interview), a minimum 590 GMAT score or a GRE score averaging 154, completed the Willamette MBA application process by 1st May, and are admitted to the Willamette Early Career and Career Change MBA program may be eligible.

Professor Ghanashyam Dash Scholarship for Higher Education, 2015

Scholarships Scholarship Details:
  • Number of scholarships: 50
    Successful candidates will receive the following financial support for up to 3.5 years:
    • Full funding for tuition fees
    • A stipend of £20,600 per annum to assist with living costs
    • A consumables fund of £2,000 per annum for the first 3 years of study.

Eligibility:
  • Scholarship is open to the students of all nationalities.

Reach Oxford Scholarship, 2016 @ University of Oxford, UK

Scholarships Scholarship Details:
  • A total of six (6) scholarships are awarded every year. Four (4) scholarships will be awarded to meritorious students from economically weak families who are permanently domiciled in Odisha and two (2) for the children of permanent employees of the Company.
  • The scholarship covers 90% of academic fees and related expenses for the entire duration of the course with the annual limit of Rs. 1,00,000/- per student.

Eligibility:
Category I:
  • Open to children of permanent employees of the Company who draw a basic pay of equal to or less than Rs. 8,000/- per month.
  • The payment of scholarship shall be discontinued in the event of separation of the employee (the parent of the student) either due to resignation or on being dismissed/ discharged from the services of the company. The scholarship shall, however, continue to be paid in the event of retirement/superannuation of the employee or his/her death.

Category II (Others):

Scholarships Scholarship Details:
  • Number of scholarships: 31

Essay Competition on International Taxation, 2015

NASA Space Settlement Contest, 2016

Scholarships Contest Details:
  • Participants have to develop space settlement models & related materials and these designs are sent to NASA Ames further for selection procedure.
  • The contest comprises distinguished categories, and entries are placed under the specified categories, depending upon the eligibility criteria.
  • The models presented must be intellectually independent and permanent.
  • Grand Prize: The best entry will receive the grand prize regardless of category, consisting of the space colony submission being placed on the NASA Ames World Wide Website.
  • All the participants of the 2016 contest will get an invitation from The National Space Society (NSS) 2016 to attend the 35th NSS annual International Space Development Conference (ISDC) in San Juan, Puerto Rico, USA on May 18-22, 2016. All the costs for attending have to be borne by the students.
  • The single highest scoring team or individual attending will receive the NSS Bruce M. Clark, Jr. Memorial Space Settlement Award for $5,000. If a team wins, the sum will be equally divided amongst them.
  • All participants will receive a certificate.

  • The essays must be typed in Times New Roman font, size 12 with 1.5 lines spacing and footnoting may be done in Times New Roman font, size 10.
  • The essay should not exceed 4000 - 5000 words (excluding footnotes)
  • The citation must be strictly in accordance with the Harvard Blue Book style, 19th Edition.

Eligibility:
